DeJong is not the key to the season, he's one of the keys to the season. If DeJong and everybody else stays healthy this team will win alot of games. I realize I'm one of the few who feel this way but that's how I feel.

I talked to somebody today who is close to the franchise. He said the new stadium in the South Loop will definitely happen. We shall see.

The Bears didn't want to spend a few million dollars in taxes in Arlington Heights. I find it hard to believe the Bears are going to pay $2 Billion dollars for a stadium in Chicago.

If the Royals can give a big money contract to Bobby Witt The White Sox can sign Cease.

A few years ago I wrote JR a letter requesting to be interviewed for the GM job. I thought Hahn was going to get fired. He was fired years later. JR didn't respond to me. Matter of fact he hasn't responded to any of my other letter after that. Its really a shame I'm not the GM. Teams are not willing to give a ton of players for Cease. Looks like he's staying with the White Sox. If I was the GM I would try to sign Cease to a long term contract. He's only 28 years old. If this team is ever going to sign a pitcher to a long term contract Cease should be the one.

I read elsewhere that White Sox historian Richard Lindberg wrote an article in todays Tribune about the JR and the new stadium. Can anybody bring it up?

I will remain optimistic until they start losing. I always try to maintain a positive outlook unlike others on this site. Its a new season I try to hope for the best. I really think this starting pitching could be good.

I think you're going to be surprised how much better this team will be this year. I realize I'm one of the few people who think they're going to be good.. I think we're in for an exciting year!!!!

This team , if healthy should hit, The starting rotation of Cease Fedde, Crochet and Kopech could be good. I admit that the bullpen scares me If everybody produces it could be a successful year. I remember going into the 1977 season the media didn't give the team any chance at all. I looked at the lineup and thought it would be a good team. I was right. I think this is a similar situation.

I'm fairly confident that this is going to be a very happy successful season for the White Sox. If this turns out like I think it will the team will add players at the deadline.

After a successful 2024 White Sox season I will be able to say (like Jackie Gleason) How sweet it is!!!!

They only have one bobblehead giveaway this year. (Robert Jr) Have a Joe Jackson bobblehead giveaway and I would think it would be a tremendous success.

Assuming the South Loop stadium is built, this time build a stadium that people like. I've read a number of times that 20% of Cubs attendance comes from out of state, The White Sox don't draw that many fans from out of state. The new stadium will attract alot of fans from out of state if the stadium is nice. They will easily draw 2 million fans a year in the South Loop if they build a nice stadium.
