I remember reading a few weeks ago that Getz/White Sox were interested in signing some elite Japanese starting pitcher this off season.

Looking back at the game should Grichuk have pinch hit for Mune in the 6th inning with 2 outs and the bases loaded?

I'm assuming the game plan is to put Schultz and Smith in the starting rotation in 2027.

I thought when Colson led off the inning being hit by a pitch Doyle would bunt him over to second. Instead of bunting he struck out. If he would have bunted Sam would have drove him home with the single.

Doyle can't hit either but at its an upgrade with his defense. I wonder about the future of Braden Montgomery with the White Sox. Maybe he will improve in the future but it looks to me like he is overmatched when he's hitting.

This stadium has been a great problem from the beginning. It was built in a location that isn't popular and secondly they built an upper deck (which originally was 45% of the seats in the stadium) which everybody has hated from the start.

1) Every time Braden Montgomery came up to hit last night from the right side, the Cleveland 3rd baseman was playing on the outfield grass. All Braden had to do is bunt the ball down the line and he could have walked to first base. Maybe he can't bunt. 2) Why did the team pitch to Ramirez in the 8th inning with first base open? 3) i don't know whats happened to Davis Martin. He has really lost it.

From what I know Josh Nelson lives in Bridgeport and I think Its fair to say he's against the Amtrak project in Bridegeport. Most White Sox fans don't care about the Amtrak project in Bridgeport and I think that the overwhelming amount of fans of the White Sox are in favor of the new stadium in the South Loop.

1) Its nice to have one Chicago team still in the MLB Playoffs. That being said, The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La! 2) I usually don't pay any attention to Cubs fans in regards to their endless excuses when there team loses. I couldn't help but notice but they seem to have outdone themselves this time. After last nights loss to the Padres I read where they're saying they lost because of too much travel time. They played at Boston over the past weekend and had to fly to Florida to finish the series against Boston. They then flew cross country to San Diego. Because of all that traveling they were burnt out and couldn't perform well because of the traveling. That's a new excuse I've never heard before.

Both Houston and Atlanta had thousands 0fm empty seats. Having these games in the daytime certainly didn't help matters. Most people have to work for a living. It would have been better to have these games played in the night.

I agree with you. In addition, the White Sox won games than Houston. Why did Houston get the 3 game home field advantage?

I think its lousy that none of the 3 games against Texas/Houston are not being played in Chicago. At least have the third game here in Chicago. I was driving home from the game last night and it dawned on me that yesterday might be the last game I attend this year.

I heard on the radio coming back from the game that Kay is starting tomorrow against the Rockies. Why would you start him in a meaningless game?

I noticed that there are alot of unsold tickets on ticketmaster for the playoffs. Playing these games during the afternoon during the week can't help selling these tickets. The games should be played at night time.

The Cook County Board of Commisioners approved a resolution today stating they don't want the Amtrack facility in Bridgeport. What happens now?

1) I always thought the Sportsvision/Pay TV channel flopped because the Chicagoland area was not wired for cable at the time. 2) I've always thought that the building the stadium at the present location where they did and the terrible stadium design was the biggest mistake of JRs ownership. Having 45% of the seats in the upper deck was crazy. Its simply too high up there. I'm hoping the new stadium design is much better than the present one.

Maybe she's going to run for public office again.
