The Sun Times reported a few weeks back that CHSN and Marquee were in talks to merge the 2 stations. I believe that is a possibility. Once the Cubs baseball season is over Marquee has nothing on their station that interests most people.

Just getting into the playoffs is all that matters to me. Once they get into the playoffs I will just hope for the best.

The sooner he breaks ground the better as far as I'm concerned. I wonder if he would start building the stadium before he actually takes ownership of the team.

If there is no land for the new stadium what happens after that? The new owner doesn't want to stay at the present location.

A couple of the local Chicago TV stations have showed how the citizens of Bridgeport and the Alderman are gathering to oppose the proposed Amtrak railyard in Bridgeport. If the railyard is not moved how would that affect the new baseball stadium in the South Loop? I can't believe the city would oppose the new railyard in Bridgeport. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out.

Colson Montgomery, Mune and Braden Montgomery haven't been hitting. Perhaps its time to move Peters up in the lineup.

At this stage I would rather see the White Sox in the playoffs and have the Cubs missing the playoffs.

I take it that this is the end of Orlando getting a MLB team.

The Rays have always struggled to draw fans in St.Pete. After the novelty of the new stadium is over I wonder if the team is going to draw any better in Tampa.

I'm a White Sox season ticket holder. I've been one for many years. The White Sox are the cheapest sports team to go see in Chicago. You're not going to go broke going to a White Sox game. The Bulls, Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks are much more expensive than the White Sox. If the prices at a White Sox game were as expensive as the Bulls I would stop going. I'm in a season ticket parking package at the Rate which comes out to $18 a game. I'm told the Cubs parking lot on Grace street is $65.00. The White Sox have numerous discount deals for their fans. The Tuesday night $5 food night is a tremendous deal and a success. You can't buy anything for $5 at a Bulls game. The Bulls are a goldmine.The NBA is so popular that its isn't very hard to sell 20,000 tickets a game in a metro of 9 million people. The Bulls are making more money now than what they did during the Jordan years. They don't have to put out a good product anymore to sell tickets.

1) TV announcer said Colson Montgomery is trying to find consistency. He has found being consistent. He strikes out consistently. He could have turned the game around in the 3rd inning with a single. Instead he struck out again. 2) I read where Mune has struck out 42% of the time this year. If this continues I wonder if the White Sox are going to try and extend him.

The Score radio station fired morning co- host Mike Mulligan today. Mike is a lifelong White Sox fan. His co-host David Haugh seems to like both the White Sox and Cubs. Seems odd he would be fired. Could it be he was fired because he's a White Sox fan? The Score being the radio home of the Cubs probably didn't like their morning host being a White Sox fan. I hope Mulligan is hired by the White Sox radio station.

Looking at the lineup for tonights game only makes me hope that Burke has a good game tonight.

JR had no intention of having a stadium in the South Loop. He wanted to go to Addison Illinois where he owned the land where the proposed stadium was. It didn't work out in Addison and he wound up in Bridgeport. Most of his investors were not happy about the new stadium being built in Bridgeport. They knew its was not a popular location. Then JR changed the original design of the stadium and it wound up with that miserable upper deck that nobody likes. So JR wound up building the stadium in a unpopular location with a upper deck that most people don't want to sit in. Even now they're having a hard time selling tickets in the upper deck.I noticed on ticketmaster that this weekend series with the Mets is basically sold out in the lower deck and the upper deck is not close to being sold out. I'm hoping the new owner doesn't make the same mistake in regards to designing the new stadium..

The White Sox should have moved out of Bridgeport years ago. JR had the opportunity to build a stadium in the South Loop in the late1980s and he declined the offer.

1)I was afraid of a letdown after the last 2 series. The team looked flat. 2) After getting the first 2 runners on in the 7th inning with nobody out I thought Braden Montgomery would bunt and sacrifice the runners. Maybe he doesn't know how to bunt.

Looks like Fedde will be the 4th starter and Urquidy will be the 5th starter the rest of the season. Hopefully these 2 will help lead the team into the 2026 MLB playoffs.

One of my accomplishments was when I had a employee fired. The White Sox hired some White Sox hater to do some media work for them. He wrote some articles in the White Sox program. He's a lifelong Cubs fan and a so called Cubs historian. He also happens to hate the White Sox. I wrote JR and questioned as to why he would hire a White Sox hater. That writer never wrote anything again for the White Sox. My White Sox contacts including a White Sox historian all told me I was responsible for the White Sox hater to hit the road. I'm proud of myself that actually happened.
