  1. The people in Kansas are doing handstands over the Chiefs moving there. They seem to think the tax revenue (sales tax) and other money makes the deal wortwhile.
  2. From what I've seen most people in KC and Missouri aren't too happy about the Chiefs moving out of state. Even the Missouri politicians aren't happy about it. The more I've thought about it the more I find it amazing that Illinois hasn't approved the Bears Arlington Heights site. It would be a great thing for the area. If something doesn't change and Indiana offers the Bears a tremendous deal the Bears are going to move out of state, The states of Kansas and Indiana view a NFL franchise as an asset. Even tho the money is putting more money into the NFL billionaire owners pockets Kansas and Indiana think its worth it in the long run.
  3. Would anybody want any of those 3 instead of Robert Jr?
  4. I can't help but wonder, if Robert Jr gets traded, who plays center for the team? Are they trading him because he's making $20 million dollars? If he was making $5 million dollars would he still be traded?
  5. Another good signing. The 2026 White Sox season is looking to be a good one.
  6. I read where the KC Royals have bought land in Kansas. Losing a baseball team and football team in KC can't be a positive thing for that city.
  7. There has to be a positive for a state like Kansas to welcome the Chiefs. They view the Chiefs as an asset. I'm assuming Indiana view the Bears as an asset. I saw where they are already doing studies in Hammond for the stadium. Looks like Hammond is the spot for the new stadium.
  8. Once the Chiefs move to Kansas, I wonder if they're going to still be called the Kansas City Chiefs or the Kansas Chiefs.
  9. Looks to me that this lineup could be very good. Add Braden Montgomery in that lineup sometime in 2026 could make the lineup even better.
  10. I'm told the Bears are meeting with the Indiana officials on January 6. I would think if Indiana comes up with the money package the Bears are looking for and Illinois doesn't, the Bears will go to Indiana. The latest thing I've heard is the Bears should try to purchase Soldier Field from the Park District , knock it down and build the dome stadium at the site. I think we're going to find out soon what the Bears are going to do. They want to start building the new stadium in 2026.
  11. If Indiana offers the Bears a better deal (Lower taxes and infrastructure) and Illinois doesn't the Bears will move to Indiana. The KC Chiefs are on the verge of moving to the State of Kansas. The annoucement is expected next week. Better deals usually have the teams moving.
  12. When the United Center was built with private money the government spent money on the infrastructure around it.
  13. I hope you're right. I hope Getz signs somebody who can actually help the team.
  14. I just wonder if Getz has actually tried to sign some decent free agent and those free agents have declined to come here simply because they don't want to be playing for the White Sox.
  15. I 've been hoping that Getz would improve the team this off season. It certainly doesn't look like that is going to happen. If anything I'm expecting Robert Jr to be moved for next to nothing. The Robert Jr move will simply be a salary dump. I hope I'm wrong.
  16. Could the Mets owner start going with lower payrolls? Its hard to believe he couldn't afford Alonso and Diaz.
  17. I just hope they sign somebody or trade for somebody who makes the team better. This losing every year is lousy.
  18. A couple more moves like this should put the team in 2026 Playoff contention!!!!
  19. I can't understand why the owners would lock out the players. The players union is never going to agree to a salary cap so what would be the purpose of a lock out?
  20. 1) Somebody posted that if JR sold the team now the taxes would be about $550 million dollars. Does anybody know what the taxes would be if he passed away? Would it be alot less than $550 million dollars? 2) The Milwaukee Brewers drew 2.6 million fans in 2025. I read where their projected 2026 payroll is $136 million. They indicate that they might not be making any money with that projected payroll. Is that possible? Its hard to believe they wouldn't be making money.
  21. Brodie Brazil has a very interesting new video on Youtube. He maintains the White Sox are a sleeping giant of a franchise.
  22. The Yankees claim they are losing money. They want to lower their payroll. Does anybody believe that the Yankees are losing money?
  23. Th e west end of Rosemont is empty and big enough for a new stadium. Its near the tollway, expressway and the CTA Blue Line. AND most importantly the Mayor of Rosemont is a White Sox fan. He was willing to build a stadium for the Cubs. I would guess he would welcome the White Sox with open arms. I have to admit that most of the White Sox fan base is not close to Rosemont but keep in mind that JR wanted to build a stadium in Addison/Dupage County which wasn't close to the fan base either.
