  1. I agree with you. The offense should be good. That being said, The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La!!!!
  2. All Getz has to do now is add a good outfielder and a good starting pitcher and this team should be good. White Sox fans will be dancing in the street once this team starts winning games in 2026!!!!
  3. With all the moves the Mets have done recently, I wonder why they didn't resign Alonso
  4. Its very possible. JR obviously wants the payroll as low as possible. Low payroll = big profits for the ownership.
  5. Getz traded Dylan Cease and received nothing in return. He then traded Robert Jr and received nothing in return. This upcoming 2026 White Sox outfield is really going to be bad. The best scenario that I can see is Benindenti in left and Sosa as the DH. Robert Jr was scheduled to be at Soxfest next week. Looks like he won't be there.
  6. I always found it odd that JRs ownership basically had nothing to do with Wilbur Wood. To the best of my knowledge he was never even invited back to Soxfest or any doings at the ballpark. If the White Sox ever have a Team Hall of Fame (like other teams have) Wood will be a White Sox Hall of Famer.
  7. My Season Ticket rep told me the promo schedule will be released the last week of January, right before Soxfest.
  8. The Indiana stadium offer to the Bears lets the Bears keep all of the revenue from the stadium. The only thing not explained is the lease. I wonder how much the Bears will pay every year for the lease.
  9. I 've been told the Bears will build their stadium in Indiana and be the owner of the stadium and lease the land. Is that possible? Would this be because this is the way to avoid paying property taxes on the stadium? If they did lease the land, I wonder how much it would cost them to lease the land?
  10. I wonder what the main details of the Indiana stadium bill are. Do the Bears get a sweetheart deal where they keep the ticket sales revenue, concessions and parking? I can't find that information anywhere. I know the offer is to have the Bears own the stadium after paying off the debt. I don't when that will be.
  11. I would assume you know what you're talking about. So if the Bears stadium is valued at $2 billion in Indiana their taxes would be $60 million as opposed to $210 million in Arlington Heights. If all this is true we shouldn't be surprised if the Bears move to Indiana.
  12. Do you mean they would be capped at $30 million per year in Indiana?
  13. I read where property taxes in Arlington Heights are $210 million dollars a year at the stadium site. I would think the property taxes will be much less in Indiana.
  14. The Bears are not asking the State of Illinois to build them a stadium. The Bears are going to build and pay for the stadium. They want money for the infrastructure.
  15. I just watched a video on Youtube where the Governor of Indiana and the Mayor of Hammond talked about the proposed Indiana Bears stadium. The Mayor of Hammond said this should be settled soon if the Bears are going to move to Indiana.
  16. The Bears are going to build a new stadium. They can't get it done in Illinois for whatever reason. If Indiana gives the Bears what they want they will move to Indiana.
  17. Indiana Governor Braun has said the negotiations with the Bears are going full speed ahead. He said they will do everything he can to bring the Bears stadium to Indiana.
  18. 1) There have been rumors in KC that if anew Royals stadium doesn't get done they will likely move to Nashville. 2) The Bears front office was suppose to meet with the Indiana officials 2 days ago. (January 6) I wonder if that happened. The Bears stadium issue seems to have become very quiet.
  19. KC is going to knock down the Chiefs stadium and its going to be one empty lot. It will not be receiving any tax revenue. I've been under the impression that the Chiefs ownership would have stayed at Arrowhead Stadium if there would have been renovations done to it. That didn't happen and they are now moving west/out of state. And it should mentioned that Arrowhead Stadium and the parking around it is much better than Soldier Field.
  20. I read where they are going to knock down Arrowhead stadium when the Chiefs leave. It will cost at least $150 million dollars to knock it down. You think it would have been better to work something out with the Chiefs and have the team stay in KC/Missouri.
  21. If Indiana gives the Bears everything they want, I wonder what will happen if Indiana says the deal has to have the team known as the Indiana Bears.
  22. I read where the Bears are meeting with the Indiana officials next Tuesday. ( January 6) It will be interesting to see if there is any movement on a new Bears stadium.
  23. It looks bad for Kansas taxpayers but still, the Kansas politicians feel overall it will benefit the State of Kansas, I find it difficult to believe that Kansas is going to lose money on the deal.
  24. 2025 was the start of good things for the White Sox. I'm expecting even better things to happen in 2026!!!!
  25. Economic studies might show stadiums are a myth in regards to economic growth but there are enough states and cities willing to build those new stadiums to attract teams. I think the Bears moving to Indiana would be a great PR move for Indiana.
