  1. Doe anybody believe the White Sox have lost money the last 6 years? I'll believe it when JR opens the financial books to the public, which he won't do.
  2. 1) This offense has been hurt with the injuries to Teel, Baldwin and Hays. 2) Quero can't hit from the left side. He should consider being a strictly right handed hitter full time, 3) I find it odd that Lucas Giolito has not signed with anybody. Is he hurt? 4) I can't comprehend why Taylor is starting games and pitching the first inning. If he was in the bullpen they might of won yesterdays game by bringing him in the late innings.
  3. .The owners of the Rays have given the government a deadline of April 15, 2026 in regards to the funding of the proposed new stadium. It will be curious to see what happens if the government does not come up with the money. Seems like most cities don't want to spend money on these new stadiums. That being said, Orlando is willing to build a new baseball stadium and i would think that is where the Rays will eventually move.
  4. Feel the Momentum, The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La!!!!
  5. I stopped going to Wrigley Field years ago. My last time there was in 2002. It took us over a hour and a half to get out of their parking lot. I'm told their parking costs $65 now. Its so expensive to go there. Its not worth it to me anymore.
  6. I thought it would have been best to keep Robert. He's better than any outfielder they have now. If he would have had a good first half he could have been moved for more than what they received from the Mets. This trade for Acuna could turn out as bad as the Cease trade with the Padres.
  7. If this keeps up they have 3 choices: 1) Keep this team together and hope for the best. 2) Bring up their top prospects from the minors, 3) Fire the manager.
  8. The White Sox starting pitching hasn't been very good so far .Lucas Giolito hasn't been signed by anybody. I don't know if he's hurt or he wants too much money. He would be an improvement over some of the starters on this team.

The Bulls are an out and out goldmine. I find it amazing that Bulls fans pay big money year after year and they have bad teams. I realize in a metro area of 9 million it should not be hard selling out if somebody wants to see NBA basketball but still I think its insane to pay that type of money for a bad product.
  10. The current White Sox slogan is Feel The Momentum. If the team keeps losing I wonder if the slogan quietly goes away.
  11. Lets hope its sooner rather than later.
  12. JRs short sightedness has cost him alot of money. The main way for him to make money now is by having low payrolls.
  13. Bad team+ low payroll for JR. Low payroll=more money in JRs pocket. Does anybody disagree with me on this subject? What else can it be?
  14. The new stadium has nothing to do with the present ownership. The new stadium won't begin to take place until the new owner takes over. Also, the South Loop 78 site has been empty forever. I wonder why the Bears didn't want to build a new stadium there years ago.
  15. I'm beginning to wonder if you're right about them wanting to lose 100 games. The bottom of the lineup is bad. I'm just hoping for the best.
  16. Billionaires want to keep making money, I get that. How much money does JR need? Most people could not spend what JR has in money. The Chicago Bulls which will be kept in JRs family is an out and out goldmine. They sellout most of their games and its not cheap going to a Bulls game. You would think JR would have enough pride to make the White Sox and the Bulls better than what they are. That is not the case. The new owner will have a hard time making the White Sox franchise a successful one.
  17. 1) If you're correct about making more money to leave to his family, that doesn't say too much about his character. JR is already a multi billionaire. How much more money does he need? His family will keep the Bulls which are a goldmine. 2) I've given up on the GM job. JR hasn't responded to me in the past. I wouldn't think he would change his mind about me at this time.
  18. I would think if the team loses 100 games in 2026, Getz will be replaced.
  19. JR always responded to me in the past on numerous items. He stopped responding to me after i requested an interview for the White Sox GM job. I don't hear from him anymore. Then again, I don't think anybody hears from him anymore. He has completely disappeared from the public.
  20. Hopefully the new stadium will be built in a popular location where people want to go. Also build a stadium that doesn't have a miserable upper deck.
  21. The lower deck at the White Sox stadium is great. The upper deck is horrible and the location of the stadium is not a popular location.
  22. White Sox fans originally welcomed the JR ownership with open arms in 1981. JR signed Luzinski and Fisk. The White Sox were having walkup crowds of over 20,000 at some games They were going to draw over 2 million fans for the first time and then the players went out on strike. The owners really got hurt money wise with that strike. A few years later most White Sox fans turned on JRs owbership.
  23. Most fans don't know that Harry Caray tried buying the White Sox with some investors. His ownership bid was turned down and it was sold to JR instead. Caray didn't like it.
