2020 and beyond...
I'm still hoping we have new ownership by 2020. Would anybody care if JR and his front office were gone from the scene? I remember when Veeck sold the team after the 1980 season. Every White Sox fan was glad to see Veeck gone. I would think White Sox fans would feel the same way if JR was gone.

Machado signs with Padres 10/300
- Machado signs with Padres 10/300
The day Hahn is gone I will write JR a letter requesting a interview to be the White Sox GM. And yes I will notify everybody on this site and I will post the letter here.- Machado signs with Padres 10/300
Hahns contract runs out after the 2019 season. I would like to think if 2019 is another bad season the Rick Hahn era will be over. I will write JR another letter requesting an interview to be the White Sox GM.- Machado signs with Padres 10/300
If Hahn doesn't sign Manny I have no doubt in my mind he'll bring back Adam LaRoche.- Frank Robinson RIP
Who did the White Sox offer for Robinson?- SOXFEST Running Thread
1) I was at Soxfest yesterday. It was crowded. They claim that the event was sold out for the weekend. I wonder how many people attend this event. How many people are considered a sellout? 2) Some people said that next years Soxfest will be moved to McCormick Place. We shall see.- Anybody else already miss Hawk?
Hawk is 77 years old. JR is 82 years old. If its time for Hawk to go, isn't it time for JR to leave the scene also?- Farmer and DJ back on radio for 2019
I still miss the great broadcasts of Bob Elson.- Ricketts to dodge fan questions at Cubs’ Convention
White Sox GM Ron Schueler didn't come to Soxfest 98 after the White Flag Trade was made a few months earlier.- Offseason plan in the event the Sox don't get HarpChado
If Hahn doesn't do something about this starting pitching staff the team is looking at another 100 loss season.- Offseason plan in the event the Sox don't get HarpChado
I would rather take my chances with Keuchel than Giolito, Covey or Fulmer.- Offseason plan in the event the Sox don't get HarpChado
The team has no starting pitching. I wish Hahn would sign Dallas Keuchel.- White Sox Christmas Gifts
I received a DVD put out by Rare Sportsfilms inc. The DVD is called The 1966 Chicago White Sox, A Look At The Sox. This is a vintage WGN Tv film that was put out right before the 1966 season. Its a 52 minute film.- Board Rules - A refresher
I have no complaints about this site. Freedom of speech is accepted here. At times the comments get kind of rough but this site is the real world. If people don't like what is being said here they should go to WSI, the Mickey Mouse of White Sox sites.- Cubs Open to Trading Kris Bryant
I don't follow minor league baseball. Who is Kris Bryant?- Rick Renteria Signs Contract Extension, length unknown
JR will announce soon that he has extended the contract of Hahn.- Your Offseason Plan
Your heart/plan is in the right place. Still I think it would be better if JR sold the team. If he sold the team Hahn and company would be gone.- Sonny Gray
The Yankees can take both Fulmer and Giolito for Gray as far as I'm concerned. I can't imagine the Yankees wanting either one but if they wanted them both they can have them.- Sox have "flexibility" to add "long term pieces"
- New Owner
Give me one example of a MLB GM who hasn't had a winning season in 6 years who still has a GM job? Footlongcomiskey started a post a few weeks back about how this rebuild is a epic failure. He listed most of the moves made by Hahn. You could get into a serious discussion on this site as to what were Hahns worse moves. His drafts, trades or free agent signings. He has missed on most of his moves. No GM is going to hit on every move but Hahn has missed on the majority of his moves. His contract runs out after the 2019 season. I figure another 100 loss 2019 season should finally see him out the door as the GM.- New Owner
You're probably right. Most GMs would have blown the team up. I would like to think they would have been more successful at the results than what has happened under Hahn. The team just suffered a 100 loss season. It looks like more 100 loss seasons are on the horizon.- Is it hahn, hostetler, renteria, the coaches, or all of them??
Forbes Magazine said the White Sox are 14th in revenue. As long as that continues the team is staying in Chicago. This 100 loss team is making nothing but money for the owners.- Sox have "flexibility" to add "long term pieces"
