  1. Follow ya now, I mean I'd send em Fulmer for either one I guess, but definitely nothing sexy about the move.
  2. He can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag, at least not at the major league level.
  3. https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/payroll/ https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/chicago-white-sox/payroll/ As of this moment, their active payroll stands just shy of 48M. If every player was tendered a contract at their estimated totals (except Goins since he already elected free agency so I cut him out) and including Yonder's 1M buyout, the payroll would come out to just over 64.5M.
  4. Yes, it's hard to fathom a baseball player, coming off of 5.4 & 4.6 fWAR seasons at 24 & 25, suddenly go from above average baseball player and take the next step in their development and turn into an All Star/MVP level player in their prime. Honestly, I'm not sure if you're backing Yelich with this being more of a "Move along, nothing to see here" comment or trying call him out because you think something is up.
  5. Tim had 26 total errors this season, 13 of which were fielding errors and 13 on throws Link.
  6. It's the "millennials are soft" era according to the statniks.
  7. The White Sox weren't on his no trade list this year, but it's hard to find a full list from years past link.
  8. I'm not sure if you're on Twitter, but LOTS of people there haven't forgotten. They continue to whine and complain almost daily about it.
  9. That post aged like a glass of milk in the AZ sun.
  10. StubHub is owned by eBay, who is in process of trying to sell them. Ticketmaster merged with Live Nation some years back. The team sold the tickets to the person who is listing them, so it's not like they aren't getting paid for the seats. If you're finding deals below face on a secondary market, the person who you're buying from is the "loser" in the deal so to speak. As long as the teams get some butts in the seats, people paying for parking, buying concessions/merch, etc. (And also these killer TV contracts), they can roll with it.
  11. Outside of the Joc stuff, I just remember him "predicting" in late May that Cease would be called "soon" and it happened about a month later. So, yeah.
  12. Zack Britton ruptured his in Dec 2017 and was back pitching in the majors in June 2018. Betances partially tore his in September, so maybe he'll be ready by the start of the regular season. That might be an optimistic timeline (I don't know, I'm no doctor), but I think we expect the worst after what happened with Burger.
  13. People weren't tuning in to watch the Sox because they've sucked for 10+ years a d grew tired of it. That has nothing to do with the broadcast crew, who are regarded as one of the better duos out there Link.
  14. 100%, the Warthogs name was infinitely better than the Dash.
  15. It was a trash idea when you "jokingly" suggested it the first time, and it's a trash idea now.
