  1. Me either, but who knows maybe they go nuts. Just my INTL signing pipe dream for this period.
  2. This may be wishful thinking, but maybe the Sox can make a run at Yiddi Cappe. I know it says he has a deal in place for 2020, but from what I read (and correct me if I'm wrong) he's eligible for this class and maybe the Cuban connection and them not really being tied to anyone big other than Yolbert (& Tatis) can help them out. Probably a pipe dream, but that's my hope.
  3. AVG at .314 & OPS back over .900 with that single.
  4. Robert's OPS now back to skyrocketing...?
  5. The level of BLEH to this signing is significantly high.
  6. Maybe this was helping his resurgence this season...
  7. Since there will probably be a few, I figured I'd throw them into a thread.
  8. A little humor from Jordan Stephens on Zack getting called up.
  9. Yeah the results of that should be very interesting. I'm sure the pitchers will absolutely hate it.
  10. It may be the Atlantic League, it seems to be the MLB petri dish for trying wild stuff.
  11. Maldonado, Mieses, Delgado, & Comas all with hits in their debuts for GF.
  12. So what? There still are people who believe the Earth is flat. They can make an argument for it all they want, but regardless they're still wrong.
  13. Yeah 100%, I could get behind that plan for next season.
  14. It's meaningful, just not as meaningful as it used to be (and rightfully so) since the baseball community has evolved and learned of better and more efficient ways to evaluate pitchers. It's not that hard, you may not like it but it's much better this way IMO.
  15. Where am I wrong? Jacob DeGrom was a very pedestrian 10-9 last season. Evaluating him based on W/L record would indicate that he had a mediocre season (which we all know couldn't be further from the truth).
  16. Wins are important to the team as a whole and probably mean a lot to each pitcher because they want to have a W next to their name, but evaluating pitchers based on a W/L record is ridiculous.
