  1. Tim had 26 total errors this season, 13 of which were fielding errors and 13 on throws Link.
  2. It's the "millennials are soft" era according to the statniks.
  3. Not unexpected, but confirmed.
  4. The White Sox weren't on his no trade list this year, but it's hard to find a full list from years past link.
  5. I'm not sure if you're on Twitter, but LOTS of people there haven't forgotten. They continue to whine and complain almost daily about it.
  6. That post aged like a glass of milk in the AZ sun.
  7. StubHub is owned by eBay, who is in process of trying to sell them. Ticketmaster merged with Live Nation some years back. The team sold the tickets to the person who is listing them, so it's not like they aren't getting paid for the seats. If you're finding deals below face on a secondary market, the person who you're buying from is the "loser" in the deal so to speak. As long as the teams get some butts in the seats, people paying for parking, buying concessions/merch, etc. (And also these killer TV contracts), they can roll with it.
  8. Outside of the Joc stuff, I just remember him "predicting" in late May that Cease would be called "soon" and it happened about a month later. So, yeah.
  9. Zack Britton ruptured his in Dec 2017 and was back pitching in the majors in June 2018. Betances partially tore his in September, so maybe he'll be ready by the start of the regular season. That might be an optimistic timeline (I don't know, I'm no doctor), but I think we expect the worst after what happened with Burger.
  10. People weren't tuning in to watch the Sox because they've sucked for 10+ years a d grew tired of it. That has nothing to do with the broadcast crew, who are regarded as one of the better duos out there Link.
  11. 100%, the Warthogs name was infinitely better than the Dash.
  12. Cool tribute to Dale with the logo.
  13. It was a trash idea when you "jokingly" suggested it the first time, and it's a trash idea now.
  14. Yeah...no. This take ?
  15. It should make a big enough impact that in theory, we won't have to sit through more Covey/Santiago/Santana/Despaigne/Detailer starts.
  16. Hawk was very much near the cream of the crap for the last 7 years or so of his duties. I grew up on Hawk calls, but man was it his time to go.
  17. I doubt he'd even really want to leave LA in the first place. If anything, I think he tests the FA waters to see what his market is and goes back to the Dodgers so they can work something out.
  18. I believe this is how it should be approached. Whatever beef they had like 15 years ago shouldn't matter anymore. The man represents a lot of the top talent that the MLB has to offer for a reason. Balking at negotiating with him only does a disservice to your team. If they intend to be serious about taking the next step, this is something that the FO has to get over.
