Sleepy Harold

Full slot for those that may be wondering.

Are you talking about signing the recent draft picks or players that went undrafted?

Yeah I think the sweet spot would be 65ish games, maybe they counter with low 70s and meet in the middle.

Not sure if they players will go for the waiving of potential grievances at 60 games, but this is a bit more detailed than Buster's run down of the offer. This is a fun little tidbit too.

I guess everyone should hold their horses for a bit.

About time you knuckleheads

This is showing that the Sox have indeed signed Ty Madrigal.

They still have the second pick tomorrow so I suppose they could theoretically take him there as well.

Getting that underslot deal for Bitsko lined up

I thought the only team that was rumored to be doing that was the Angels?

I'd have to run through the drafts again to be sure, but I believe Bailey goes after in most, if not all.

Kiley also had Crochet to the Sox, said it was a late development type thing.

If I eliminate both the Bears & Bulls could the football Cardinals come back in return?

I could absolutely get behind that.

He's still not cleared to sign yet, so nothing can/will be announced until that happens.

FWIW, this staff draft has the Sox selecting Pete Crow-Armstrong & Gage Workman.

Have the Sox taking Bailey again.

He also mentioned that the Sox aren't necessarily "college or bust" with the pick, so there's a glimmer of hope on the HS front.

Their lastest mock has the Sox selecting Bailey, but notates that they're looking at the top high school hitters/pitchers as well.

Probably. But at the moment he's in somewhat of a similar situation. He's still under contract in Japan (or at least his team believes he is) and hasn't been cleared to sign with a MLB club, so he can't really do anything at the moment until those get resolved. I'm sure teams are "talking" with him and he may ultimately have a preference on where he wants to be, they all just need to wait for the green light from the league.
