Sleepy Harold

Yeah very odd, but like you said, it's Dipoto.

Most of the season is after April 15 so that's fine by me.

I'd have to agree. maybe it's just for a couple seasons when the team should have real talent on it, then they'll evaluate and see how well he performs with a roster full of major league quality players.

Counter to Sir Wet Blanket

More fuel to the fire.

Sox also mentioned as potential suitors for both Machado & Harper in here as well. https://www.mlb.com/news/manny-machado-bryce-harper-markets-take-shape/c-300231462

They currently have 3 1B on the roster with Santana, Hoskins, and Bour so not really sure that it's a fit.

Maybe it was on Soxtalk After Dark, an exclusive board for certain members only.

I hope to break something more worthwhile later on this off-season, but I'll take this for now.

HOT STOVE SEASON IS HERE!!!!

I'd rather have a POTW now rather than back out on a bet I proposed but had no intention of honoring ?.

Should be banned for backing out on their own ban bet.

I'm sure there's an Indy ball team out there that would love to have Ozzie and he can go there for all I care. I don't understand this fascination with "bringing back" Ozzie as manager. That ship sailed long ago because of his blatant douchebaggery.

They could just got out and try to sign him the following off-season if they're truly interested. Doesn't really make much sense to give up assests for what might only be a rental in what's (at the moment) not expected to be a contending season.

Sale closes out the 9th to clinch the Series for the Sawx...he deserved to showcase his stuff on the biggest stage, and luckily he did, just not for the team it should've been. Things ended poorly here for him, but still I can't help but feel good for him winning the WS. Bring on the off-season!

Every move? You know that's false and a complete exaggeration on your part, come on man. I'm all for people having and expressing their opinion of not trusting the current FO to rebuild the team that they couldn't build up to start. It's a fair position to hold tbh. But the proclamations that everything sucks because a rebulding team that we were told was going to be bad is in fact bad and has bad players on it by design is just being negative to be negative. I could've sworn I remember them being anti-rebuild once it initially began, but maybe I'm misremembering.

Sox Machine loves pushing the "sky is falling" narrative...they seemingly complain about every little thing that occurs with the Sox. I get being objective and critical because everything isn't always puppies and rainbows (and I appreciate that sentiment when discussing the team with anyone for that matter), but to me it seems that they're skeptical of every move the Sox make/don't make because it's the Sox that made it.

He appeared in 3 games as a pitcher and had 3 IP. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/d/davidma02-pitch.shtml

Drafted Kenny's kid in like the 5th rd too.

One potential target can be crossed off the list.
