BARTOLO IS GOD!
Someone mercifully kill this thread

While I think it's quite obvious that KW and JM aren't going anywhere, having said that, I think KW will sooner be fired than voluntarily resign.

BARTOLO IS GOD!
Can't agree with you here. You defend MB to the death but you laugh at the misfortune of Colon? Kind of hypocritical if you ask me.

How far did that one go?
Far enough

BARTOLO IS GOD!
I've been one of the more negative posters here lately. Nothing really to be positive about. But by no means am I rejoicing in Bartolo's 9th inning troubles. And now, I just shake my head as the Giants hit another GS..... off of Marte no less.

BARTOLO IS GOD!
He beat Bonds 3 times tonight. I had a bad feeling he wouldn't beat him 4 times. Having said that, I don't think laughing at the expense of Bartolo is justified.

Best Right Fielder in MLB
Of course it was a hypothetical, but I got my ass ripped even at the mention of the prospect. I didn't get it at the time. Blind love for Maggs I guess. "Untouchable" was thrown around alot by the Maggs backers

Your thoughts.....?
By your rationale, the White Sox would be on the hit list. Low attendance, not competitive except every 6-10 seasons, terrible stadium, etc. Glad you ain't the Commish.

Rock bottom
Sounds great except where's the money going to come from ? Sorry to hear about that Bmr. Talk to MauryPinStripes. He can give you pointer's on the finer side of unemployment

Best Right Fielder in MLB
And people on this board laughed at me this offseason when I suggested the White Sox trade Maggs to the Expos for Vlad straight up

Too bad asshole KW doesn't GM for the Cardinals. That would be the ONLY way St. Louis would trade Pujols for Buehrle and Crede.

We might not have one or either of those two after White Flag II.

Your thoughts.....?
Depends on what their situation is. Contraction has nothing to do with a team's W-L record. It has to do with how much a team is bringing in, money wise, for MLB. Don't think that in some baseball circles the White Sox haven't been mentioned as a contraction possibility.
-
Your thoughts.....?
Record doesn't mean jack. It's all about the $$$$$. And if being contracted was dependant on any teams record, contraction would be done on a case-by-case basis depending on a teams record the season MLB decided to contract.

Attention Sox hitters
The radar gun at USCF is VERY WRONG!!!!!

France Catches Al Qaeda member
Anybody see that E-Bay is selling authentic French Army Rifles? They're advertised as "never-been-fired, dropped only twice."

Someone corked my Cracker Jack
Perfect end to a perfect night :puke And since it was the 8th, you couldn't drown your sorrows in a watered down USCF Miller Beer

Reference 1st paragraph..... I've become accustomed to that all season. Nothing is going to change. A dreadful roadtrip and..... nothing. WAIT..... Rowand was called back up green Reference 2nd paragraph..... I knew we didn't and will never, at least in 2003 with the team, management, and ownership as it is currently, ever turn the corner.

Your thoughts.....?
Why not ? 28 evens it out. But who would you contract and on what basis ? I think MLB is pushing for "The Big 4" based solely on financial criteria. Maybe combine Tampa and Minnesota/Montreal and Florida based on the current League structure ? Relocate one or both teams ? Minnesota has pretty much guaranteed a new stadium for the Twins if MLB agrees not to contract the team. Keep Minnesota in Minneapolis if they get a new stadium and move Florida/Montreal to Portland or Puerto Rico ? (Expos have had good crowds in PR) MLB could take advantage of this and expand further than just Canada and with the influx of Hispanic players, I think PR might work.

so whats left to talk about........
He's right. And we have only one person to thank for that..... J-f***in'-R. f***ing asswipe has killed the White Sox in Chicago and, my Sox bias aside, the "Contract the White Sox BandWagon" has alot of valid points in their suggestion that the White Sox..... not the Minnesota Twins..... be contracted. Minnesota has all but agreed to build the Twins a new stadium if MLB guarantees not to contract the team. Meanwhile, JR has all but designed the albatross that White Sox fans will have to endure with for, hopefully, another 50-60 years. Excuse me if I don't get excited about the prospects for this team's future :puke .

Your thoughts.....?
1. Contract Montreal, Tampa Bay, Florida, and Minnesota. 2. Do away with interleague. 3. Realign the NL and the AL, with natural rivals (White Sox/Cubs/St. Louis , Yankees/Mets/Red Sox , etc.) in the same League and go back to East and West Divisions. 4. Trash the Wild (Cub) Card. First place team in each Division plays each other in a 7 game League Championship. Winners play in a 7 game World Series. 5. Each team plays each other in their respective League an equal number of times with 50-50 home and away.

They're saying that about MB now

Will Buehrle lose 20?
Isn't it about time for MB to have shoulder problems like Ritchie did last season ? Buehrle has gone from suck to blow..... and I'm one of his biggest fans.
