Actually, that was his last AB during Saturday's marathon. Houston took 2 of 3. Too bad they can't prove that Soso used Corky for the GW hit. If that could be proved, would the sCrUBS have to forfeit or would the game be continued from that point with Soso being ejected and the runners returning to their bases ?

Yeah it is..... '03 ended for me about a month and a half ago and I haven't looked up in the standings ever since. I'd be ecstatic if this team could just get back to .500 but I'll probably have to wait until September before that happens

If you put McGuire's name on the '04 ballot as a joke, he probably be voted a f***ing starter at 1B..... most casual baseball fans probably don't know that he has retired.

I have also heard radio reports that several Cub players ran to the locker room while the TV cameras were on the umpires during their pow-wow while inspecting the corked bat. The speculation as to what they were doing ran from players discarding more corked bats to other questionable "substances" before MLB Security confiscated all of ShamME's bats. Pretty interesting stuff.

Yup. What's the sense? There is none. If the Organization doesn't care, I don't care either. I didn't even bat an eye when the Sox, PREDICTABLY, lost tonight to another team that is struggling now without their number 1 and 2 pitchers. This team sucks and anyone who thinks we still have a chance to win this Division with things staying the way they are needs to wake up.
