Hudson is an above average pitcher that will demand $$$$$. No way will he come to the Sox. He'll go to a team that actually gives a damn..... if anybody.

A major league team run like it was some Bush League, minor organization. The only signings this off-season will be oft-injured pseudo players that (if it weren't for them being consistently on a DL) might be stars. And let's not forget the players coming off season ending injuries. They come pretty cheap too.

Ummmmm..... no I don't. KW said as much in his letter to the fans on the Sox MLB website shortly after the '04 season was done for the Sox saying he thought he assembled a team that could challenge, "for the Division." No mention of assembling a team that could challenge for a WS. But Sox fans have been fed scraps my entire life so I guess we should be happy when a Sox team actually wins a Division..... something KW has, thus far, failed miserably at doing. But who am I, a fan, to nit-pick

I'd be happy with KW if he can put together a WS Contender in Sox Fandom's eyes instead of a Division Contender in his eyes.

Not anymore. Wright had arm trouble and Mazzoni taught him to be more of a pitcher than a thrower. He now hits the low 90's on occasion.

Or they won't report details of the offer because, even though it might be worth more than the Mariner's offer, it's probably so chock full of incentives, "Diminished Skills" clauses, and backloading that no one really knows how much of the offer is guaranteed money. You'd probably have to include a legend with the article to understand any White Sox offer of 3+ years
