why I will not by tickets this year
Every team you mentioned but the Cubs (big surprise) made the playoffs last season. But give it a few months. There's plenty of offseason left (to be disappointed).

Sox 1st FA
Not sure what I said about Marte or Gordon. I'd have to reach into the archives. If I remember correctly, didn't care too much one way or the other about Marte/Guerrier and was content with the signing of Gordon. Didn't know enough about Takatsu to say much but I was hoping he'd bump Botch out of the closer's role. Tough break for me there.

A's Trade for Kendall
Cause I can. Maybe I'll stop posting when JR and KW prove me wrong. How's that?
-
A's Trade for Kendall
White Sox wise, I have nothing to be positive or optimistic about as long as JR owns the team and KW is the GM. b****ing is what gets me through the day .

A's Trade for Kendall
Have a turkey leg. It's Thanksgiving Be thankful the Sox aren't owned by someone who gives a rats patoot

pavano?
Are you serious? The Sox aren't interested cause Pavano is due to make $$$$$. End of story.

Sox 1st FA
This team is so pathetic that the, "Wow! WS..... here we come!", jokes never lose their luster when discussing the pro and cons of a 28 y/o MLB wanna-be. God knows, now that I think of it, he probably can be on a team that has, for 2 seasons now, failed to address the 5th starter role seriously. But God forbid paying Sox fans that bleed and die everything black and silver make jokes about a nothing acquisition :rolly .

New Willie Harris Article
Harris' only asset right now would be a pinch-runner with sprinter-like speed who cannot steal bases. How's that for an oxymoron? Harris blows and the only reason why he is still on the team is because KW fancies himself as some sort of uber-GM who knows more than every other GM in the League. Meanwhile, GM's across the League laugh at KW for drafting a college closer with a first round pick. I'm laughing too . The sooner Crede and Harris are gone, the better off this team will be.

Green Seats?
Like Old Comiskey Park . I'd rather JR sink some green into the team than onto the seats but I know better than to think that that might actually happen.

A's Trade for Kendall
Otherwise known as optimists. I'm hearing Randy Johnson to the White Sox is almost a done deal. Russ Ortiz too. And if neither of them pan out, there's still a long way to go in this offseason.

My Vegas Weekend/Sox Sighting
I had a feeling the Colts were gonna whup up on the Bears but I bought into the whole Chicago media line of "Best Defense in the NFL" BS. I was kicking myself big time cause I just had a feeling Peyton and Co. were gonna completely own the Bears while I sweated out the San Diego and, particularly, the Pittsburgh game. But it's all the same in the end. Has anyone ever created a better betting game than football? I also gotta give credit to the Ravens and Bucs who came through for my Ties Win Teaser.

My Vegas Weekend/Sox Sighting
Just got back from Las Vegas and, for only the second time in my life, I came back with more money than I went out to Vegas with. The state of Michigan screwed me good on Saturday. Was down about $700 after the dust cleared. But thank God for Pittsburgh and San Diego who covered for me on a $400 parlay..... winning me $1000+. A four team teaser won me $200 on top of that. A good Sunday for me by all accounts. Frank Thomas was in LV for the fight on Saturday night..... I think. He was tipping the cocktail waitress $100 for every drink she brought to him in the casino. While waiting in the security line at McCarron Airport, a gaggle of giggly, admitted, female Cub fans saw my Sox jacket and told us that they talked to Frank Thomas who spoke with them when they told him they were from Chicago. To top it off, Frank bought all of them breakfast. It was all they were talking about while waiting to board the flight back to Chicago. BTW..... the Sox are 20/1 to win the WS and 10/1 to win the ALC. The Cubs, on the otherhand, are 5/1 to win the WS and 3/1 to win the NLC. The Cubs are the NL favorite.

Anyone watching the Clinton Library Dedication
An architectural critic said the Clinton Library design looked like a double-wide . Will the new Clinton Library have peepshows and gloryholes ?

What Now?
If RJ wants to win now, he'll avoid the White Sox like the plague.

In white sox fantasy land
When? Why? Because he's young?
-
What Now?
He's the only one. Harris blows. But I've been saying Uribe at SS and Harris at 2B for Opening Day '05 all along. So I'm not surprised.

Kenny Williams
KW was the GM at the time of the Ritchie trade. The decision was, ultimately, KW's..... regardless of if Schueler had any input on it or not. And you're right..... Cotts more than makes up for the Botch/Foulke trade :rolly

Santorum -- The PA Senator from VA
Also, N-S interstates are odd numbers, E-W interstates are even numbers.

Kenny Williams
Kenny Williams has been in over his head since Day 1. We can only hope he keeps more of those Botch and Ritchie deals hush-hush..... don't wanna get in a bidding war for those types of studs :rolly

NBC Says Marine Shot Dead Wounded Iraqi Prisoner
I love Monday morning quarterbacks :rolly I'm sure the notion that this marine has seen insurgents fake being dead before during his tour is totally out of your grasp.
