Keith Foulke
I'm always happy to see a goof GM trade one of the most reliable AL closers for a dead arm "power" closer..... especially when said pitcher got his s*** together after a rough first half and had an ERA under 1 for the second half. Let's remember too that JM..... and MOSTLY KW..... didn't allow Foulke to blow too many saves last season cause KF was one of the only ones who would stand up to KW and his buffet table flipping antics. KW saw his chance to "demote" KF after a few rough outings and he took it. f*** KW for letting his personal feelings dictate the direction he'd take for the team. And f*** JM for allowing KW to do that. Too bad neither did the same thing when Botch was getting hit like he was a f***ing T-Ball stand

the seasons over
Thanks for the comedy relief tonight. I needed a good laugh Wright has always been Wrong. The best he ever will be was at the end of '02.

Not surprising
I'll be at the Cell Sunday with Maury and Guido when we're playing for 3rd Place

Forgetting about this season
There we were, in a pennant race, at the END OF AUGUST, and this jagoff manager we have is content winning a SERIES at a time when we should have been trying to win EVERY GAME. Maybe dickhead thought it was April..... not August.

DO you know what FTBHT stands for I do
Does it have anything to do with sweeps half-way through a series?

Esteban Loaiza: A True Fluke?
Fluke huh? Thanks for winning 19 games and, single-handedly, being the sole reason why we're still in contention on 09/16 Loaiza you fluke

LMAO
Since I cannot quote kane0730's post, I'll just say that you will, more than likely, see Jose start against Rogers tomorrow night. Graffenino's grandmother died and he will miss Wednesday's game at the very least to attend services according to Rooney and Farmer. Condolences to TG

Here's who to blame
Blame the fans for Corpseball much of the season huh? Where do you come up with s*** like that? I've been to a ton of games this season, even one of our numerous 1-0 losses to f***ing Detroit and the fans are to blame for that? I guess we'll be to blame too this weekend if the Sox lose when we're battling KC for 3rd Place bragging rights

What this team needs after Manuel is fired is a manager who is PROVEN both in the regular and postseason. I'm sick of this Organization hiring managers with no experience other than being a bench, base, pitching, etc. coach from another Organization. The only ex-White Sox player with no MLB coaching experience I would want to see managing the White Sox is Carlton Fisk. Fisk is God.

Why do you think I call Cubdom "Cubdumb"? I'd fear facing the "mailed it in" Cardinals alot more than either the Reds or Mets.
- hey spiff

Twins win
Remember that awful ad by Gallas last year with JM proclaiming, "If you come to our ballpark, you better bring your 'A' game. You better come ready to play"? I wish the White Sox had heeded that advice for 81 games last season Having said that, bringing the "A" game from here on out is a MUST!

Loiaza Mechanical Flaw
Coop ain't Nardi. Loaiza and the White Sox will be fine as long as the White Sox offense shows up.
-
Oh no, not again...
That's because Frank can do no wrong and is above criticism in the eyes of most Sox fans. You should see the s*** I got on "one board" when I criticized Thomas. You'd have thought I was on a Cubs board criticizing ShamME

Sox-Twinkles on ESPN Wed
Are you sure it's not the RED Sox?

Mariotti Squirming
He's not alone in Cubdumb. Cub fan family members of mine accused the Cardinals of laying down so the Astros could run away with the Division Then there's Chimp who was blaming Sunday's loss on the umpire who got hurt. That 14 minutes messed with Zambrano's rhythm..... yadda, yadda, yadda.

Don't forget about the time Pudge jumped all over Deion for drawing "$$$" in the dirt while Deion took his spot in the batters box..... also when Deion was w/NY

This is so funny..

Damned off days
An offense that can bury anyone when they're hot? Our best 1-4 pitching that we've had since, at least, 1993? Gordon, Marte, and Wunsch? If the offense fires and the SP can give us 6-7 good innings, we have what it takes, to quote Jake from MAJOR LEAGUE, "to win the whole..... f***ing..... thing." We just need to get there.

Pitching matchups
I thought the same thing. Not facing Santana or Milton is a f***ing HUGE break. Not to mention we just missed Pedro and Lowe in the BOston series. Maybe fate? Not fate, it was the fact that Boston is looking to match up with other teams in their division. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe Boston skipped anyone in their rotation or had another pitcher spot start against the White Sox. Not facing Pedro and Lowe is just the way it worked out. We won the game earlier in June that Pedro started anyway

Where the Hell.....
What about the children ?

Pitching matchups
I thought the same thing. Not facing Santana or Milton is a f***ing HUGE break. Not to mention we just missed Pedro and Lowe in the BOston series. Maybe fate? And Mark Prior in both of the Cubs Series.... We beat him in '02. We'd have beaten him again
