  1. Calling Madrigal Magical when he hasnt even played a single game is the most cringe thing ive ever seen or heard.
  2. he wanted to play for a WS contender from what i remember. We didnt have a chance at him
  3. dont tell me to stfu, grow up
  4. I wonder when Astros players will start talking. They no doubt have been told to keep quiet, but eventually silence will do them more harm. Current players are starting to chime in, this is turning very very ugly.
  5. Bauer is though.
  6. Its not coming from just 'internet dorks', players are saying the same thing.
  7. Im also interested to see how Bregman, Altuve, and Springer get treated in away games. Looking forward to their trip to Yankee stadium
  8. This made me laugh harder than it should have.
  9. It would show that MLB lied about the severity of the cheating to protect itself and the Astros. This is a big deal and also tells us the Astros were doing it in 2018 and 2019, contrary to the report.
  10. I wish you could do this through mlb.tv, it would have to be heavily moderated though.
  11. Hinch either proved to be a liar, or he had no control over the clubhouse. Either way thats not someone I want in my manager.
  12. Taubman, Hinch, and Luhnow all represent MLB and the Houston Astros. Their actions, although different, smeared the name of the sport and organization. Their offenses are different but both have a long lasting effect that needed to be dealt with. I do agree with you that the penalties of domestic abusers are laughable compared the these suspensions though.
  13. its more than that and you know it
  14. Moving away from Keuchel for a bit, is there a shadier person in baseball than Luhnow? His tenure in Houston: -accused of stealing Cardinals data on his way out to Houston -allowed cheating scandal that would end up being his legacy -traded for domestic abuser while he was still under investigation -handled the sexist actions of his staff by attempting to sweep it under the rug -gets suspended and fired for cheating before throwing players and employees under the bus Seriously what a piece of shit, what else am I missing?
  15. Not just to think, but to expect it.
  16. Pitching mentor does not mean life coach.
  17. You keep pinning 'true leader' on Keuchel but what makes you think thats the kind of guy he is? Is it because hes a professional athlete?
  18. Also Farquhar found out about the scheme during his game and he likely told the White Sox about it. Should we now be angry at him and our coaches for not doing more about it?
  19. Sounds like a lot of pressure to put on one guy trying to earn a big contract. Some of the above might have happened, we dont really know. There are already articles stating Crane knew everything. I can totally understand not wanting to muddy the waters if you arent involved. We don't know what went on in the clubhouse behind closed doors, but to condemn Keuchel for not taking on the hero role is a bit much. Maybe we have different expectations of players and in that case I would understand if you dont want anything to do with him.
  20. Where is his admission to looking away? How do we know players weren't outspoken behind closed doors? What else do you expect them to do? Go to the media?
  21. Bauers twitter is gold right now
  22. From what I have read some players refused the help. This is supported by their atbats not having any trash can sounds.
  23. This wont put them in disarray.
  24. Totally worth it, Manfred dropped the ball here.
