Wheeler would be a nice get but this bidding is getting a bit out of hand. If it is north of the 5 year 115 million I wouldnt mind walking away. That is a lot of money for potential and I doubt he lives up to it.
Mancini would complete the positional side of things once Robert and Madrigal are up. That would be amazing, doubt it happens though. What would even be a fair offer for Mancini? Dunning, Collins, Rutherford gets it done?
I know its been brought up a bunch in this thread, but his injury history concerns me. I still think we go for it at 5 years 20mil per though. Just have to hold my breath every time he pitches like i did with Rodon.
Need a RF and the offense is set, I think our bench will be good enough too.
Keep in mind we still have some trade fodder, a big trade is possible to set up our pitching and bullpen too!
I just feel terrible for Darvish because this is his legacy. He left LA because he didnt want his child to go through the threats and bullying. You think about his 2018 season and how putrid he was, how much of this could be attributed to that? The mental stress of thinking you are tipping when you arent, etc...
