QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 22, 2017 -> 11:20 AM) I find it very interesting that Burdi still hasn't been sent out, and that he wasn't sent out the day that the rest of the top group was sent out, including someone like Fulmer. I wonder if he has a shot? id like for him to be sent down until we get that extra year of control

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Mar 20, 2017 -> 02:11 PM) A near .800 OPS in high A from a 19 year old SS prospect is pedestrian?? I agree he's probably a bit overrated due to his AFL stint, but let's not sell his A ball numbers short. The kid is an incredible prospect and worthy of top 10/20 status. I assumed he was older

QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Mar 20, 2017 -> 01:41 PM) Really? http://www.baseball-reference.com/register...id=torres000gle So hes a top 5 prospect because he got hot during the afl? His stats in A ball are pedestrian

apparently Rodon is throwing 90-91 but he looks really good today

QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 18, 2017 -> 02:39 PM) Stuff is just nowhere near what it used to be At the moment I'm chalking it up to Spring Training and an opportunity to work on mechanics but I'll baby and defend all of our prospects

Fulmer not looking very sharp

I am more excited about Kopech than any other prospect we have

Kopech is going to dominate the minors this season

Call May up in June after Tilson hurts himself again

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Mar 14, 2017 -> 07:53 AM) A resurgent year from McCutchen in RF could make him expendable. Guess we'll see come mid-season! As a baseball fan I personally would love to see Cutch signed to a long term deal. I appreciate star players who are able to be with one team for their career.

Well.. Ian Desmond went down with a hand fracture. Abreu + Quintana to Rockies for Dahl, Hoffman, Rodgers, Pint, Tapia, McMahon do it now!

Q did a good job for a 3rd starter

Lopez solid outing

Nice line by giolito but need that k rate to get better

Watching Frazier in spring training, guy has an explosive swing. Dude is fun to watch

if only 5+ teams were in the mix, still feel like the package was light.

Lopez final line 3 IP 3 hits 1 walk 3 strikeouts 1 ER

Lopez 2 Ks (1 vs Goldschmidt) but lots of pitches so far in the first

Giolito apparently had good command and got squeezed. Good to see Burdi continue to be successful. I would like to see him up in June.

Not worried about his ks yet How is collins doing

QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 2, 2017 -> 02:41 PM) This post could be the biggest jinx I've ever seen. No kidding. Someone call the shaman to unhex this post

Price was fun to watch for sure, I always liked him too. Hopefully for them Sale stays healthy.

Devers, Groome, Travis, Ockimey

Dalbec looks like a monster just reading up on him

Wonder what the Red Sox would have offered for Sale had this happened before the Sale trade. Anyways what do the Red Sox even have to offer? Devers, Groome, then what?
