  1. Screw these guys - they get booed once and decide to try. Maybe do this all year and not be on the precipice of the worst record of all time?
  2. I'm no troll, but I totally want to see the record.

Yep, this - and said better than I could. I'm in Texas now, an hour away from the home park of a team that has been good for a decade - and has 2 World Series wins (and 2 other appearances) to show for it. I won't be a fan, though - (other than the cheating), I have no history and no connection to it. Chicago is home and the Sox are my team.
  4. Had to work and missed the game (I get to see attempt #3 tomorrow though :). Were the Sox good, or were the Angels just worse? I caught a bit on GameDay and assumed the boys were just salty about being booed for winning on Tuesday and decided to actually try.
  5. Packed house, Tatis Jr. jack for a 4-2 lead - that place is LOUD. I wish we could have nice things...
  6. I still don’t buy it. He’s dogged it to first all season.
  7. lol - yep. I ended up tuning to the radio broadcast
  8. Sure. Thanks for nothing, Garrett. Enjoy being stuck here til your arm falls off next May.
  9. They actually look like they’re making an effort tonight.
  10. Peralta warming up, just to make sure the Twins get to double-digits.
  11. Does Schriff EVER know the score?
  12. Got me interested, so I looked it up. In the "Modern Era", it's the 1932 Red Sox with a -345 run differential. This is probably still in play, right? All-time is pretty safe with the Cleveland Spiders hitting -723 in 1899.
  13. If they lose tonight, they break the franchise non-single-season losing streak record of 15, which they did in 1967-68.
