So based on numbers you guys would bat the following 9th. All had probably very similar "stat cast" metrics to Madrigal lmao.
Tony Gynn
Ichiro
Pete Rose
Those stats mean nothing. And I literally mean nothing.
Exit velocity means literally nothing for an elite "hitter". If you are going for homeruns, sure. If you are going for base hits then it means nothing.
Madrigal hit .340 last year (far superior to TA). Exit velocity and hard hit % does not equate to batting average. It can help but does not determine what a leadoff hitter is or should be.
Lmao. Madrigal is one of our best hitters and hands down should be leadoff without TA in the lineup or in the 2 hole with TA in there. He hasn't choked at all and certainly not when compared to every other hitter on the roster. Should Abreu bat 9th bc he choked bad all season so far lol.
Madrigal consistently provides the best AB's, works the count, and will hit for elite average (imo he will our hit TA if TA starts going for more power). Imo Madrigal should 1000% be in the 2 hole but with TA out he is the only person who is even remotely capable of hitting 1 or 2.
Easy option here to get a cheap gem to replace Eloy. Go to Texas and get Ronald Guzman, he is out of options and they really want to play Lowe at 1B.
Or Sam Hilliard from COL as they have a roster crunch in the OF when Rogers comes back from the dl.
Anyone interested in taking over a team in the 10 team keeper league I started here a few years back. 11 major league keepers and 7 minor league keepers. League is on fantrax now and free. PM me if interested
Playing alongside
Abreu
Moncada
Eloy
Grandal
(I might be missing one)
He will be rejuvenated and motivated, I truly believe we would be getting the best Puig, in the clubhouse and on the field
Top have was just trolling with the ???
Bottom half I'm just saying that I don't believe anything related to Lindor. It doesnt make sense for the Sox at all, unless the biggest name we give up is Madrigal
