Cubs 2020
and he was terrible. Now obviously that is some small sample size stuff, but he was really terrible. There is certainly a hefty amount risk attached to trading for him.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
I know several people that were in this position. I'm not sure whats been going on since the 600 kicker went away, but this was definitely happening.

Offseason Targets
Yeah, honestly that doesn't seem like too much to give up for that. The most conecering part would be Sale's salary.

Will the Front Office Fire Renteria?
Aw. That seems sad. You should at least mis-spell a word in a nickname like that.

Will the Front Office Fire Renteria?
Hahah. One of my other specialties.

Will the Front Office Fire Renteria?
Did someone call him Sticky Renteria? Ricky Diarreha? I didn't read it all, but that's what I would have been all over as a 5 year old. Well, maybe 7 for the latter. He kept running out to the mound? Get it??? Get it??? Mostly though it kind rhymes. If you squint with your ears.

Crochet's arm fine
Its time to stop worrying about service time. This team has moved into its contention window. For the next few years, the goal should be to put the most talented players on the field every single day. If Crochet needs TJ, he should get it done tomorrow. The team shouldn't be thinking about 2027 right now. They should be thinking about winning the World Series as many times as possible. And manipulating one guys time isn't going to make a difference in keeping the window open. The only way they can do that is to draft, develop, and sign guys well.

Random Prediction Time
Nope. I don't want anything to do with him. And actually think the money can be better spent than in RF. I think Engel/Leury will be fine in RF, especially with Vaughn in the lineup. Spend the money on pitching.

Guess the pitcher we add in the offseason
16 pitches?

Guess the pitcher we add in the offseason
I think that is pretty much a given.

Guess the pitcher we add in the offseason
Yeah, and obviously very unlikely to happen. One of them would be great. Trying to think of other guys that could be helpful that may be available, I can come up with Danny Duffy or Brad Keller, Nate Eovaldi and Lance Lynn. Can't really think of any other obvious ones. Eovaldi is interesting, but Boston would obviously have to cover some of the money and he is such a crazy injury risk. I know there are always other guys available, I can't really think of others.

Guess the pitcher we add in the offseason
I think they need 2 pitchers. Bauer would be great. Stroman would be too. Also I would see who you is available in a trade. I'd be willing to trade Kopech/Cease/Dunning/Lopez/Setiver(yeah, no value), now, not all of them obviously, but I'd sure put two of them in a package for the right guy.

He's 23 in his first playoff AB. Being a bit overzealous isn't really a surprise.
