Following on Gameday, did Charlotte just turn a triple play?

I would guess that Basabe to Charlotte would be the first domino to fall. Luis Gonzalez would be next, I would assume.

Booker did get promoted to Charlotte. He has been with the Knights the last two games.

If he has similar results in AA as he did in A+, I think he will be in the Top 5.

I don’t think that it will happen, but I very well think it could. We saw Juan Soto go from Low-A to the Majors in like half of a season. Luis is putting up otherworldly numbers at this point, and he is talented to make that jump this season, I believe. However, I think that Luis will play a minimum of two months in Birmingham, and will go to Charlotte after that. Two months in Birmingham would be through June. He could then start in Charlotte on July 1st. If he continued to hit like he is, I could see the Sox calling him up in August.

If I recall correctly, Adolfo has been exclusively DH’ing this season because of the injury. He was just placed on the IL today. Any chance that we see Robert promoted now?

It’s so fun to watch Robert run. He just gets around the bases so easily.

Someone that I know with knowledge of the situation tells me that Jimenez is expected to miss at least 6 weeks. Unfortunate, but not surprising.

I was impressed but what I saw from Cease. Cranked it up to 99mph multiple times and had some crazy off-speed stuff. Most of the hits off of him were chip shots, shallow into the outfield where guys weren’t because of big shifts.
