I am really excited about Madrigal. Maybe he doesn’t get a bunch of base hits, but there will always be room for guys get bat .300 with a .350 OBP (which is what I think he’ll become).

Do we see Luis Robert at Birmingham before May 1st?

Yesterday was the first time I have seen Luis play in person. It is incredible how he is built. Just looks like he belongs. The one thing that stood out the most to me was the speed. You can tell he just hits another level when he gets going.

Are we assuming that Robert just got a day off and will play tomorrow? I’m making my way to WS for the game tomorrow.

Robert may not be in Winston-Salem for very long. I thought there was a chance that he could start the season in Birmingham, but if this start is any indication, he could be there early on this season.

The top of that Birmingham lineup looks really nice. 1. Gonzalez 2. Adolfo 3. Rutherford 4. Rivera 5. Sheets

Love to see these performances out of Robert and Collins. Can’t wait to see what the guys in Birmingham can do tomorrow!

Triple-A seems to have really good quality from what I’ve seen in the past.

I saw on Instagram yesterday that Gonzalez, Adolfo, Sheets, Roman, Rutherford and Rivera are all currently with Birmingham. Per Twitter, Kade McClure will start the year with Kannapolis.

When will the rosters be set for each team? We’ve seen certain guys get assigned to various clubs, but nothing official on when the rosters will be officially set. When do we expect that to happen?

Really hope that Rutschman drops to the Sox. Doubt it happens, but I think he would be a tremendous add.

Has it been reported any where that Madrigal will start in W-S? I feel like he is going to start in Birmingham.

Birmingham. Could potentially have an outfield of Gonzalez, Rutherford and Adolfo to start the season, with Basabe coming back from injury as well. Also a strong possibility that we see Robert by mid-season, and Madrigal could start the year with the team, and if not, I would imagine he would be there by mid-May. Sheets should start the season with the Barons as well.

I was a told by a White Sox prospect a couple years ago that the Minor League rotations are not set like the Major Leagues. A lot of it just has to do with how they finish Spring Training games. So Cease could be the #1 or he could be #5.

I could see them having Walker on the same path as Luis Gonzalez. Get him some AB's in Kannapolis, then send him to Winston-Salem mid-season.
