I actually think McNeil would be on the block given their roster construction: Escobar and JD Davis at 3B. Escobar and Cano at 2B. Cahna, Marte, Nimmo in the OF. Smith as backup corner/DH. They could sign another cheap backup. He seems expendable for the right price.

I don't see how that makes any sense for us.

I too am intrigued by a Keuchel/Cano swap if nothing else can come.

Jeff McNeil is my guy I want and has been for awhile.

I also think Rodon is still a pretty strong possibility. But I think we'd move Keuchel into the bullpen as a swing man to help cover starts IF he can't be dumped

There's no way Gray will get a prospect the caliber of Vaughn/Crochet. But I agree they should be able to top Sheets elsewhere.

I would only sign him for 3/12 I stated earlier. Otherwise I'd let him walk and figure out the utility role with someone else

How is his OBP?

Because I'd rather use the 7 million (if 20 million is really what he gets) elsewhere with a team that clearly doesn't like to spend money. Why is that hard to understand?
