Squirmin' for Yermin

ohhh i see what you did there.

I've never been a fan of hiring someone based on color, or forcing interviews based on color. Hire the best person, whoever that may be. Wasn't Willie Harris interviewed last year here just because we HAD to interview a minority due to some rule? Poor Willie, that would suck to be a "token interview", since they already made their horrible minds up with Larussa.

lollll he is unmatched.

I really do like the idea of Sonny Gray. One year on his deal at a reasonable price and should come at a reasonable price. I wonder if Sheets/Burger + another decent prospect (HS starter?) could get Gray.

So you think Rodon coming back is actually a possibility?

I wonder what a Syndergaard contract would look like should he reject the QO.

horror.

I would die if we were that team.

I wonder how crazy a trade with the Mariners would be swapping prospects for better fits: Vaughn + for: Gilbert and Haniger Haniger only has 1 year left so how much can he really command alone in a trade? Vaughn > Gilbert. This is a MLB The Show type trade lol

If you sign Conforto and a legit starter, then IDGAF who plays second. ROMY TIME! lol

I don't have beef with him.. He just isn't a 138 million guy.. I'd be nervous giving him half of that.

I agree. Give me Conforto for 20mil and Verlander for 20 mil over Scherzer for 35 mil and some RFer for 5 mil.

I am a fan of the aging vet SP signing. Scherzer, Kershaw or Verlander all make a lot of sense to me.

Whoever gives Gausman that contract should get fired.

I'd hate to be the team that gives Ray that contract.

ew. Keuchel for Cano seems more than fair but probably better for them (I'd still do it)

wow.. I'd actually honestly love that... love is probably too strong of a word

You're a strange man.

agreed. If they shipped Engle for something, then I'd be fine with McCuthchen as the LHP platoon

I got a weird feeling we are getting a lot of dressing

Can we do a permanent ban-bet? I'd totally be down. I'll take the over 90 for 2022. Hell, I'll be nice and give you 90 being a push and no ban.

How can we be stuck in the 80 wins range when we won 93?

Bruh it wouldn't be a dogfight if our right fielder was Ray Charles and our 2nd baseman was Stevie Wonder.

All I know is Collins had a -.6 dWAR and Severino had a 1.0 dWAR (not close, but obviously there are other ratings). I admittedly probably watched 0 of his games but always thought he was a defensive first catcher.. is this wrong?

I would only be fine with Calhoun (or a guy similar) if we sign a big fish 2B. Semien and Calhoun (for example) would make me very happy
