I've never been a fan of hiring someone based on color, or forcing interviews based on color. Hire the best person, whoever that may be. Wasn't Willie Harris interviewed last year here just because we HAD to interview a minority due to some rule? I am a fan of the aging vet SP signing. Scherzer, Kershaw or Verlander all make a lot of sense to me.
