What do you do with Vaughn with Schwarber? Is he traded?

I don't see the Schwarber connection unless Vaughn is traded. I don't want to trade him.

If we sign a LEGIT RF or 2B, I am fine with the other being in-house or dumpster dive signing. Ala, if we sign Semien for 2B, I am fine with Engel/Sheets. If we sign Conforto, I am fine with Leury/Romy/Hernandez

Gavin Sheets (the guy we all woulda shipped as a 3rd piece in a trade), does not have a higher offensive upside than Conforto.

I'm a huge Conforto fan. He is a perfect fit.

I think you move Moncada to 1 or 2 and put Robert at 3. Ideally if Eloy remembers how to hit, he is your future 4.

Far prefer Seguar. Didi had a horrendous 2021 with a negative WAR. You could get more for Kimbrel

I predict we open the pocket book (hopefully) 1. My prediction is Rodon rejects the QO and we sign Clayton Kershaw to a 2 year deal. 2. We trade Gavin Sheets/Jake Burger and Kimbrel in a deal together for Jeff McNeil. 3. We sign Michael Conforto to a 3 year deal with an opt out at year 2. 4. Resign Tepera 5. We dump Keuchel for straight salary relief with a team picking up 8 million of his 20 million. 6. Sign some cheap defensive minded backstop.

If Rodon signs, why do we need another expensive SP. I'd argue we wouldn't need 1 at all.

Hasn't this been proven a fallacy? Since ALL players have drastic home road splits? There are tons of batters who did just fine after leaving COL. Arenado and Lemahieu are immediate ones that comes to mind

I am saying yuou solve the Abreu/Eloy/Vaughn log jam. You still sign/trade a LH RF and ideally 2B.
