Squirmin' for Yermin

If the Yankees sign a big name SS, maybe we can swap prospect. Vaughn for Volpe.

I think Gomes will be looking for $

Can we get him for something involving Kimbrel?

Is there any way we can get Bryson Scott from them? Maybe take on the Gregorias contract to minimize the cost of Kimbrel?

Sadly it was, due to all the other Yermin lovers.

Wooo! Bring on the rumors!

I think everyone here would be ecstatic with any of the top SS

a Escobar/Conforto offseason would be outstanding for the offense.

That would be dookie.

This was fun! Honestly though, if that is the trade for Kimbrel, I think I'd rather hold onto him and hope he can regain his form/trade value. To make the numbers still work, I'd have to not sign McHugh (save 6 million), and then find 10 million on the ground next to the Bubba Gump Shrimp at Navy Pier.

At that point, F that lolll

They're the favorite no matter what the flash-in-the-pan Mariners do this offseason.

so exactly what I guessed. SHUCKS

Could it have been Verlanders camp reporting this to get the Astros to up/finalize their offer?

Who is your guess

I think they're banking on Rodon returning to his injury riddled self . It's a gamble.

Syndergaard has had a great track record. Rodon had the one year to be fair.

Scherzer, Verlander or Kershaw would be amazing.

Kershaw

wowzaa. That's 2 surprises now.

Bartolo Colon.. He's always ready.

Keep them coming.

could you imagine LOL. I'd love to see a player sign a contract with an opt out on July 25. LOL Sign with a bad team, if you're playing well, opt out and sign with a playoff contender

Do you want me to run a list of trades and signings that include the following: Giolito, Moncada, Eloy, Cease, Kopech, Robert, Abreu, Dunning (got us Lynn), traded for Eaton (got us Giolito), Claimed Quintana (got EloyCease), I am sure there is many more.

I would love Verlander. 1/25 with a player option for year 2 for another 25.
