  1. I would much prefer a Stiever, Sheets and Lambert package. More depth to this deal than many others, but lacking the higher caliber prospect. Throw us Leclerc as well
  2. Are there any really interesting guys? Pint and Maitan are the highest former prospects lol
  3. Yeah, you are way high. You could get most anyone being discussed for Cease, Madrigal and Kelley
  4. Package led by Dunning/Cease
  5. Adrus and Odor are their only bad contracts. Neither are near fits at all.
  6. Keep them coming Maloney.... You're the only reason we have stuff to talk about. Ignore the haterzz
  7. Mashes RH pitching (we need), really good OBP and plays fine D. Also would only cost 10-15 a year on a short deal.
  8. Because we have the ability to look at other former-Rockies arms... They don't get vastly better.
  9. 1. Snell is better. 2. Marquez may cost more. 3. Marquez may be vastly overvalued due to his splits.. All pitchers pitch better at home. Obviously his would be more pronounced but is it REALLLLLY that much of a diffference? See Chatwood, Ubaldo and countless others who have left Colorado and didn't get vastly better like we were told.
  10. I think a Kopech + Dunning + Adolfo + lower third of top 30 gets it done. Would I do it? If we signed Springer yes, if not... I wouldn't hate it or love it. I'm a huge Kopech lover mind you.
  11. The reds are a god awful organization and are not a serious playoff team as they're constructed right now.
  12. Good because he still has our highest ceiling out of our entire staff (Giolito included)
  13. This actually seemed kinda weak to me? Meaning, i'd probably do it
  14. Just so we are clear.. Darvish was one of the best pitchers in all of baseball after the first two months in 2019. He continued it in 2020.
  15. If we dont expect to hit 140 million or act like that's high.. This rebuild failed before it started.
  16. You will really see it at the upcoming arbitration deadline.. You already saw tons of good value players get cut due to their player options
  17. Exactly why I do not want to give up a ransom for Marquez.
  18. Is Flash the new Greg/Peavy?
  19. I would say "yes" but you can only trade picks. no players. AKA I can't trade the number 1 overall pick for Conforto. Also must be traded in the same year. With no change in draft capital.
  20. I don't think many would consider Marsh a "much better prospect".. Maybe a better prospect to some, but much better?
  21. I'd much rather lead a package with Cease than Madrigal
  22. Darvish +100.. Lynn I dont have much interest trading a top prospect for 1 year. And Ithink we are vastly overvaluing Marquez. But if we aren't adn that's really his value, I don't want a part of it.
  23. You couldn't.. It would be hard to find a better lineup in the last decade.
