Just Because The Twins signed Donaldson.......
Donaldson >> Than any White Sox edition this offseason. He's a fantastic player.. The goal is that in years 3-4 he hurts them. But he makes them better next year for sure. It just hurts our chances in 2020.

You broke the rules! now im sad..

One Last Spot
I am personally fine with Garcia as the platoon mate with Mazara. I also am a pretty big fan of Mendick so I am fine with him for 3 weeks before Madrigal comes up. My choice would be for a Relief pitcher/swing man. I'd love doing a buy low on Pedro Strop OR even trying Tijuan Walker as a swing man. Put him in the bullpen but can also start in a pinch.

One Last Spot
If you had one final spot to fill (max 5 million) what would you do and who would you grab? 1. Right Fielder (platoon for Mazara) 2. Second baseman 3. Relief Pitcher 4. Other Also include a name if you'd like!

Steve Stone Hinting At Another Move: Not Puig / Castellanos
Madrigal 6 years 24 million. 2 club options for 10 million each. Boom. Who says no?

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
Yeah, there's really no logical way you can defend that Abreu contract..
-
Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
I'm saying if you take OUT his amazing two month stretch (fluke maybe?).. Is he really worth more than Calhoun? I'm just speaking as GMs proabably are.. Clearly there's a disconnect in his market from what he thinks hes worth and what GMs will pay.. I'm assuming no one wants to pay for that potential 2 month fluke.

MLB Pipeline Prospects
Robert the #1 OF prospect. FV - 65.. I still think it's insane that Robert is a full grade below Franco STILL.. Franco the only 70. I get hes crazy young and been awesome.. But he should not be in a tier alone.

Offseason 2019-2020 MLB Catch All Thread
White Sox will never outpace the fanbase of the Cubs.. Just won't happen.
-
Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
Before his past 2 months with the Cubs... was castellanos more than a 8 million player? I think he has no market.. He's probably valuing himself as a 20 million and now hoping to get 15 and no one is biting.

COVEY DFA-ed - Signed by TB
I will predict Covey goes to the KBO.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
Castellanos on a one year deal does not hurt flexibility for multiple years.. lol

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
I reallllllly like the idea of Mazara in RF as our 8 hitter right now... HOWEVER, if Castellanos wanted to try a 1 year-15 million "prove it" deal, then I would be fine punting on the Mazara experiment.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
I agree.

COVEY DFA-ed - Signed by TB
Why would someone claim him?

My brother met a former Sox player I (he did know it tho')
He's a terrible offensive player.. He will get the vet minimum somewhere and that's probably what he deserves.

MLB Pipeline Prospects
Sorry, I was slacking. Someone created a new thread for just 2B. Must not have seen this one so I didn't post it.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
If he isn't getting 15 million a year offers right now he needs to take a one year deal.. Though if he has a Tigers-esque year next year, then he won't be a 15 million a year player.
-
Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
He's been right on a lot of things. I 100% trust him. IDK how you couldn't believe he has real sources at this point.

MLB Pipeline Prospects
FIRST BASE: 1. ANDREW VAUGHN 2. Evan White 3. Ryan Mountcastle 4. Triston Casas 5. Seth Beer 6. Bobby Bradley 7. Brent Rooker 8. Grant Lavigne 9. Michael Toglia 10. Lewin Diaz Rough group.

Jim Bowden Top 50 Prospect List
Holy shit.. I expect all 4.. But not Kopech and Madrigal that high... How is Bowden viewed?

Sox Sign Cishek; 1 yr, $5.25 mil + option (6.75, 750k buyout)
A lot of those names would be realistic and cheap options... Flores (rather give Mendick a shot), Pillar, Knitzer and Strop all interest me a lot.

MLB Pipeline Prospects
CATCHERS: 1. Adley Rutschman 2. Joey Bart 3. Sean Murphy 4. Luis Campusano 5. Francisco Alvarez 6. Shea Langeliers 7. Keibert Ruiz 8. Sam Huff 9. Dalton Varsho 10. Miguel Amaya Man I have been a massive fan of Varsho... That dude can do everything. No Collins, but Catchers are deep. I'd assume he'd be in the 10-15 range.
