  1. White Sox will never outpace the fanbase of the Cubs.. Just won't happen.
  2. Before his past 2 months with the Cubs... was castellanos more than a 8 million player? I think he has no market.. He's probably valuing himself as a 20 million and now hoping to get 15 and no one is biting.
  3. Castellanos on a one year deal does not hurt flexibility for multiple years.. lol
  4. I reallllllly like the idea of Mazara in RF as our 8 hitter right now... HOWEVER, if Castellanos wanted to try a 1 year-15 million "prove it" deal, then I would be fine punting on the Mazara experiment.
  5. Wow, they almost never hit the ball on the ground this game. I think I counted 2 ground outs? Not including the bunt..
  6. He's a terrible offensive player.. He will get the vet minimum somewhere and that's probably what he deserves.
  7. Sorry, I was slacking. Someone created a new thread for just 2B. Must not have seen this one so I didn't post it.
  8. If he isn't getting 15 million a year offers right now he needs to take a one year deal.. Though if he has a Tigers-esque year next year, then he won't be a 15 million a year player.
  9. He's been right on a lot of things. I 100% trust him. IDK how you couldn't believe he has real sources at this point.
  10. FIRST BASE: 1. ANDREW VAUGHN 2. Evan White 3. Ryan Mountcastle 4. Triston Casas 5. Seth Beer 6. Bobby Bradley 7. Brent Rooker 8. Grant Lavigne 9. Michael Toglia 10. Lewin Diaz Rough group.
  11. Holy shit.. I expect all 4.. But not Kopech and Madrigal that high... How is Bowden viewed?
  12. A lot of those names would be realistic and cheap options... Flores (rather give Mendick a shot), Pillar, Knitzer and Strop all interest me a lot.
  13. CATCHERS: 1. Adley Rutschman 2. Joey Bart 3. Sean Murphy 4. Luis Campusano 5. Francisco Alvarez 6. Shea Langeliers 7. Keibert Ruiz 8. Sam Huff 9. Dalton Varsho 10. Miguel Amaya Man I have been a massive fan of Varsho... That dude can do everything. No Collins, but Catchers are deep. I'd assume he'd be in the 10-15 range.
  14. He played every single position in 2018 for the Tigers.. Kinda cool.
  15. Damn Nationals ownership... That would have been the fleece of the rebuild.
  16. Yeah, they have a top 3 lineup (assuming they don't regress much).. The White Sox however, I believe, will have a top 5. So I don't think there's going to be a massive gap there.
  17. I suspect we will obviously see Robert, Madrigal and Vaughn in the top 10 of their positions. We already saw Kopech is the #4 RH pitcher.. I will guess that Collins will come in at the back end of the top 10 catchers.
  18. I posted a topic yesterday. MLB pipeline is releasing their top 10 at every position (updated) and they starting with RH starting pitchers yesterday. Today they did LH Starting pitchers 1. Mackenzie Gore 2. Jesus Luzardo 3. Brenden McKay 4. Tarik Skubal 5. Nick Lodolo 6. Matthew Liberatore 7. AJ Puk 8. Daniel Lynch 9. Brailyn Marquez 10. DL Hall. Man I don't get the infatuation with McKay... AT ALL.. I think he will just be MEH his entire career.. Also, Skubal (tigers) is filthy and may be their best prospect... Their staff is going to be very very good in the next year or two.
  19. Not designating Zavala yet, after all these moves, really indicates to me that they're really trying to move in a trade one of the catchers.. Otherwise, I don't get why he is still around.
  20. I plan to create this thread every day as the new list is released from MLB Pipeline. Today was the start with right handed starting pitchers 1. Casey Mize 2. Nate Pearson 3. Forrrest Whitley 4. MICHAEL KOPECH 5. Sixto Sanchez 6. Dustin May 7. Matt Manning 8. Luis Patino 9. Spencer Howard 10. Grayson Rodriguez I am suprised Whitley is still ahead of Kopech after his bad bad year. Also here's a hot take... Manning will be the better Tigers SP over Mize. I just don't absolutely LOVE Mize's repetoire for the majors. I think he'll be good.. but not great.
  21. APRIL: Giolito, Keuchel, Cease, Lopez, Gonzalez JULY: Giolito, Keuchel, Cease, Lopez, Kopech. Gonzalez and Rodon will be in bullpen. Lopez looks fine enough to leave as the 5 so Gonzalez moves when Kopech comes up.
