Our draft picks need to be successful, especially in the top rounds. And no I'm not dismissing Fulmer, but every high pick failure is yet another position we have to worry about filling through trades or FA.

The hype in ungodly. Too bad that had such an amazing start and such an easy schedule for the first month an a half or so. If they did not have that going for them, things would be a whole lot tighter in their division. That start was such a huge outlier.

Sucks the Cardinals have been without Carpenter, Peralta and Moss for a while. They don't have the kind of depth the Cubs have for those kind of losses.

That game turned to s*** quickly. Oh well, we won the first two and you can't really expect more from a team mired in mediocrity. As a boring person once said, "We are what we are."
