that call to guyer was absolute bulls***.

Then he wouldn't give that call to Miller one inning later.

I'm not sure if it's the Cubs hitters or Miller not being as sharp today, but he's been pretty hittable.

He hasn't been sharp at all.

Can't wait for Schwarber to hit a 3 run shot to tie this somehow...

Eh Miller is wild, not really giving up hard hits. Schwarber bailed pretty hard on that first slider.

Yeah, I would not give him another fastball. Keep throwing sliders.

Not tonight

Miller's sliders to Schwarber in that AB were so nasty.

Whew that 2-2 pitch was a hanger

Bye bye

All of sports media, Facebook, and Reddit would have been unbearable for me to visit.

Indians need an insurance run. I don't trust Cody Allen. He's a bit wild.

Indians doing what they've been doing all postseason. Ho hum

Except the Cubs were actually able to get runners on base against Miller. That doesn't bode well for Cleveland for the rest of the series. They need Miller to be what he was against the Blue Jays to make up for their lack of starting pitching.

That was on Miller, not the Cubs.

Cubs get 50/50 call. What new?

Yeah, I don't think Miller was particularly sharp, but the Cubs also did a nice job of laying off. I'd like to see another outing before I could say whether that was on the Cubs, on Miller, or both.

Miller worked into and out of a few jams against Boston too

I gotta wonder why the Indians don't hit Jose Ramirez leadoff. He gets on base way more than Davis and has the speed to steal bases.

Can someone explain to me why Maddon didn't pinch hit for Schwarber? I think he got lucky that schwarber got the walk the first at bat. He's got a career OPS of 481 against lefties. And this is Andrew Miller.

Pretty clearly hoping for the home run.

Miller couldn't throw his fastball for a strike.

I'm nervous for Allen

He got squeezed a few times.
