Sounding like we are going to have back to back weekends of ridiculous snow. Im gonna be going home, loading up my snowblower and taking it in to get fixed before the weekend because it seems like a mere shovel aint gonna cut it.

Holy crap. That doesn't even factor in the wind chill. Looks like I won't be doing much of anything this weekend except for shoveling.

Yeah, it looks bad already. Different types of snow too, at least the first wave this past weekend was the light and dry kind.

That article you linked is from last weekend. I know it's supposed to snow this Friday/Saturday, are they really calling for 5-10 inches again?

My forecast for Saturday just says ice pellets. That sounds miserable.

I heard this morning on the radio they are calling for a large amount of snow again on Friday and Saturday, then on Saturday temps are going to plunge again and it will turn to ice

We've had about 13 inches of snow since last weekend - and more expected over the next few days.

 

This Saturday, it's supposed to be an icy mix.

Possibly the coldest game ever played at Soldier Field. My couch seems perfect on Sunday.

Quick dog walk this morning. Even he was having none of this. That type of cold that hurts his paws.

Yeah that game sucks. I've been there for games that were at least above 10 degrees and it was still torture. my ass was so frozen that I didnt even know my pants were falling down.

I love drinking outside in cold weather...hell I just love drinking outside.

 

The freezing of the beer is just a bonus.

 

Going to watch the Bears though is not worth the ancillary trouble.

 

Going ice fishing in a few weeks. Sleeping on the ice. Should be unique and fun.
