Hope he strikes out Bregman a couple times...

Even if he is on his game I don't expect him to go more than 4 or 5 innings.

Hopefully. I have a love hate relationship with the WBC. On one hand I love any sort of international sporting competition, on the other hand, I hate seeing a Sox asset taxed unnecessarily early in the year.

It was really cool though being in Sunset Park BK when that Mexican hat took off from the 2009 classic, it was like every dude on the street had on that hat for a few weeks, really showed that MLB can be a "cool" sport.

I don't mind hitters in it, but pitching playing in it makes me a little nervous. Spring games are a good chance to work on things. WBC games are full bore.

Not Sox related but theres a game on mlb network. 2-0 Yanks. Aaron Judge just hit a BOMB to center

They're capped at like 60 pitches first round.

Chicago White Sox‏Verified account @whitesox 4m4 minutes ago Jose Abreu is leaving for Miami following today's game to tend to personal matters. He is expected to return to Arizona on Wednesday.

He's testifying.

Abreu is scheduled to testify Wednesday in the case against agent Bartolo Hernandez and trainer Julio Estrada. Prosecutors say they oversaw an illegal operation that smuggled players from Cuba to third countries so they could sign lucrative free agent deals with Major League Baseball teams.

I've read a little of his story and all the BS he had to go through and all the money he had to give up to get where he is now.

Interesting that he is pitching today in relief. Got knocked around a bit

He also struck out a bunch. Sounded like the hits were weak contact.

40-man roster now has 38. 59 players in camp. Jose Abreu is here and is in the lineup tonight.

According to FS Twitter, Basabe may get a run in the LAAgame today

Calling all Eddy Alvarez fans:

Sun-Times has a full page spread on him today. (In print)

Kopech won't pitch today against the DBacks. Will work in a B game early next week. Sox want a controlled environment to get his stamina up.

Michael Kopech said he expects to throw in a sim game Tuesday rather than today. Reynaldo Lopez starting at Diamondbacks.

I'm fine with bringing Kopech along slow. He really needs coaching and reps to improve.

He has not thrown many minor league innings and should be handling an increased workload this season. Over 100 innings is a good goal for him

Watched benintendi go 4 for 4 with a hr and two doubles on friday. Really wish we wouldve been able to get him, hes gonna be a stud

Nick Delmonico is having himself a nice spring. I'd start him at third in Triple-A and prepare him in the event that Frazier is dealt. Younger than Davidson and also a left-handed bat.

Rick Hahn continues to preach patience for White Sox as they monitor trade market http://cbsloc.al/2meVb8B

Hayes is a bit older than I'd like but he's having a nice spring.
