Hooray meaningless wins. :snow

Well Carson Fulmer did impress again. If he carries this in to next year, then ok. But I'm guessing after playing a big part in ruining our draft pick, he will resume getting shellacked more often than not next year.

Considering we're up against Kubler today - I'm hoping for a 3 - 1 loss.

Of course, we WIN the god damned game because... baseball.

Figures.

Instead of having a chance at #3 - we're at #5 now and have to lose tomorrow while getting a Reds win.

So if both Sox and CIN win tomorrow, who gets the better pick and why.

I watched the Cubs/Reds game today. The Reds are a team that has mailed it in. Their RF apparently can't afford working sunglasses. Their catcher can't block or catch pitches. It was a 'bad news bears' type display. They're not going to beat the Cubs tomorrow. The Sox will be picking 5th.

At least the Phillies are gonna end up losing tonight. That brings my "discontent level" down to a 6.

Edit: Please Baseball Gods - my prayers this season have rarely been answered... but please... please... please... PLEASE have the White Sox lose tomorrow while making the Reds somehow miraculously beat the Cubs.

1. Giants 63-98 (Det-1)

2. Tigers 64-97 (SF-2, Phi-1)

3. Phillies 65-96 (Det-2)

4. Reds 67-94 (Sox-1)

5. White Sox 67-94 (Cin-2)

Mets are 6th. If they win and Padres and Braves lose, they go from 6th to 8th. That would piss me off more than what is happening to the Sox.
