Key to Sox draft is a 2-3 of Thompson/Hiura/Baz/Faedo going in the top ten.

Or said a different way, 2-3 teams going underslot ahead of them. It could be any number of different guys at those selections that sets the Sox up for someone falling to them.

He just loses credibility there.

Do we think a top 3 pick in 2019 is likely, or even desirable? I think we've got to be better than that with Moncada/Fulmer/Giolito/Lopez contributing at MLB in 2018. Not contending yet, but if we totally suck, I think that's a bad turn for some of our first tier...

There's no such thing as a lock for Oakland. I'd guess he's their pick as well, but they're a strange team.

Does anyone else really like David Peterson? A 6'6 lefty with plus control and fastball slider combo with a playable changeup. I'd be happy going underslot for him and getting a play at one of the HS SS/OFs at 49.
