No. Robin did it too and got ripped for it. Remember when he benched Rios for jogging to first? It was called a bush league move on this very site.

2012?

The pitching change was a great excuse to get Anderson out. Great job by the ump to let the Sox hit one of them. And hilarious that Maddon came out to make a case to toss Beck. I hope they hit another guy next inning.

It's baseball

We don't always agree, but Amen to that

Did he really? Or did he just make a double switch so he can get 2 innings out of Beck without him having to bat. Pitcher's spot due up 3rd next inning.

Oops. Someone is on to the truth.

No its not. Sometimes its okay to watch what is going on and then have a plan.

I don't think we are talking about the same thing, or we are just looking at the appropriate response from different perspective

If Rodon would have drilled the entire middle order of their team, I would have been pretty thankful if they just drilled one of our guys in the leg.

Not sure how I feel about TA being benched.

I don't think we would do that in the 5th, but who knows.

I think he was more concerned he would lose Beck after drilling Happ.

Lackey losing some of his control...if They let him stay in, he'll start spinning that slider, and our hitters better bang it

Nice Engel.

Yesssiirr LETSS GOOOOO

Thanks for keeping him in

f*** outta here you POS.

Dumbest thing in the world.

But it got the Cubs millions of followers as they came home from school and watched the games on WGN nationwide.

Even a grounder to the right will do the trick.

Tank

Wtf happened to Saladino this year. Very disappointing

I'm honestly shocked Ricky didn't have him bunt.
