Any predictions on who takes Lopez's spot in Charlotte's rotation? Got to think one of the AA guys gets promoted.

 

I'm going to say Guerrero gets the bump up. Today will mark his 46th AA start and he's been absolutely incredible all year in his second go-around with Birmingham. He really deserves a promotion. And unlike Kopech, Guerrero should have no real innings cap, so there should be no concerns about promoting him only to have to replace him in a few weeks.

Collins 2-2, 2B, BB so far.

So far so good for the key guys at Winston-Salem:

 

Dunning: 5 IP, 2 R, 5 K, 1 BB, 4 H, 1 HR, 51/73 strikes

 

Collins: 2/2, 2B, BB, 0 K (OPS now at .790)

 

Jimenez: 1/3, 2B, 0 K (OPS now at .927)

I'll be tuning in for the Lopez start. Pretty much baseball all day and tonight for me.

Another solid outing once again for Dunning.

Not a good Guerrero start

Lopez not heading to the majors on a high note. Lots of strikeouts at least.

Sox have an interesting choice to make between Lopez and Giolito. Not sure which I want to see called up first.

If Lopez does come up, is it for good or are we going to send him back down to start next year so we can get the extra year of control? I know he had some service time with the Nats, so two more months now means the extra year call up date might be so late it doesn't make sense.
