TA ON FIRE

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 15, 2017 -> 08:41 PM)
Anybody got one of those link to see the game online for us Californians ? I think it was a link from Reddit last time.

pm'd ya dude...

I don't recall watching a Rowand game before but He's a nice change of pace.

Yoan looks so overmatched as a righty. Needs to be a tougher out vs LHP

Edited by fathom

very nice bunt my Gonzo...we have everyday players that can't do that.

I'm enjoying Rowand-Benetti

they're taggin' Wood pretty well...and he knows it.

MiGo looking good so far. I'll be surprised if he's still wearing a Sox uni when September 1St comes around.

Always down in the count as a righty. Eye isn't nearly as good that way

How many at-bats does Moncada get at the big league level before they force him to hit lefty only?

The only time he came close to not having a pronounced split was in 2015 (actually hit better from the RH side), his first year playing professional baseball.

Jose Valentin comes to mind, but I believe his splits were even more dramatic than what Moncada's been doing in 2016 and 2017.

Just got home. I thought Hawk did road games, and is that Aaron Rowand?

He's a switch hitter. It's not an experiment. He will continue to switch hit

Moncada coming into today has a 35% K rate and 57% GB%. That number has only increased.

Thoughts on Bummer?

He's not even close to being big league ready. He's on the tank crew with Holland and Shields.

I get bummed when he's out there.

He is like a number of our young pitchers. They can't throw strikes. It's like they are afraid to challenge the hitters

Petricka gets a grounder with bases loaded and Saladino makes a nice throw home to cut down the runner

It was a bad throw that prevented an easy double play

Lol Petricka is such a joke

Whole bullpen is. Oh well, lose away

That's not the way I saw it or did Row and. Smith couldn't get a good grip on the ball for the throw
