Palka bomb

Sick of Palka hitting cheapies

Palka just obliterates baseballs. It's fun to watch him hit and be sitting there anticipating that kind of contact. Even if he's still got a ways to go.

What a luxury when the offense shows up. Forget the other sins.

Can Covey keep up his perfect game?

Jinx.

Guys, Palka has 10 home runs. Think of all the busts we've had the last many seasons. Horrible failures. Well, we are due for a diamond in the rough. A surprise stud. This Palka guy needs to play 6 days a week and see if he can blast 40 home runs. Anybody not excited about his potential needs to seek professional help. Let.Him.Play.

Covey gets hurt too often with his offspeed stuff, as he's up in the zone with it a lot.  Not what you should see from a sinker baller.

Covey also seems to have no chance at getting guys out 2nd time thru the lineup of late.  The Covey bubble has just about burst.

Phil Humber II.

Wow can't believe Ricky didn't challenge that.

It appears Covey’s days as the second coming of Roy Halladay are ova.

Yeah time to see what Stephens can do.

And just like that, Covey falls apart.

Way to have your pitchers back, Ricky

So he's not our Arrieta?  Guess Coop can't get credit for finally fixing a starter again.

So clueless, he's so out of his league.

Nice toss Engel.

So what you're saying is that Covey's future with the Sox is strictly as a relief pitcher?

Wow the squeeze for so obvious there. Ricky asleep at the wheel for the 100th time this year.

If Dylan has another rough outing -- any buzz about him is officially over.

However, it's been a nice start here.

Covey blowing it now. No command at all. Announcer making point that he is sweating badly and can’t wipe his hands so he is losing his grip on the ball . He has given up six runs. He is out of there

Who knows, maybe velocity ticks up and he just relies on no sinker instead of god awful offspeed stuff he's been hanging so often.
