If it makes you feel worse, it was probably his least competitive at bat of the year. Faked a bunt on fastball down the plate and then severely overmatched by two high fastballs.  Yolmer wasn't much better.

Verlander is a great pitcher to watch, I feel like I can follow his game plan in every atbat. Executes it so well. Hopefully our pitchers are paying attention
