They had 1st and 2nd with nobody out, Abreu hit a gork shot to left that got caught and Moncada got doubled off 2B because he wasn't paying attention.

You don't remember Pods leading the world in OOBs when he was here?  Carlos Lee was another who was a horrible baserunner.

Not really no.. I remember that Scotty Pods had like 60 steals and a team that won a lot of games without being very great offensively but smart, solid on defense and not beating themselves.

As far as Carlos Lee or any random dude from the past... of course their have been bad base runners before 2018.

Uh oh, sounds like a Minaya sighting!  I change my vote for how we blow that game...

Timmy with the insurance run driven in!

Anderson’s going to fuck around and become a superstar

Oh my God, it's enjoyable baseball to watch

I really want him to be good. He's got the tools to hit .280, hit 30 HR and steal 30 bases while showing bits of spectacular defense.

He also pisses off the baseball fun police which is the icing on the cake.

Seems that way, but there is still a sizable contingent here that thinks he is not very good.

Jesus Christ Moncada.

Hands of steel from Yoan.

At the game, his body language has been pretty awful the entire night

Moncada needs to come to grips with himself.  Total headcase right now.

What a performance from Carlos.

I leave Carlos in here. He's better than any option you have.

welp

It looked awful on that play.  And of course Rodon’s awesome start is at risk now.

104 pitches, 105 last game...and out of there

And here it comes.  No one I trust more in a high leverage situation than Juan Minaya!

While Minaya was warming up, Yolmer and Timmy were chatting and Abreu was talking to ump and Yoan was by himself
