Im really confident in Lopez for next season, he has been remarkable in his last 10 starts or so

A little problem with command and his own fielding in the 1st but good outing so far  through 4 .

Through 5 tied at 1.

Rey has really gotten it together in the last month to six weeks.  A real nice finish to the season for him.

He Gio and Rodon are nice pieces in a rebuild should all contribute in some sort for the next several years. 

That should be it for Lopez. Lost command again issuing 3 straight walks to load the bases with no outs. Only gave up 1 run however and Sox down 2 -1.

Could have been no runs that inning if Engels throw home doesn't hit the mound.

White Sox management must be quite happy right now.

So does Avi sit game 2 since he didnt run out his double? If so it helps the tanking effort

He should probably have half a year next year to show he can get major leaguers out. If we're still seeing this same 6 ERA crap, then might be time to do something different.

ERA over 6, but the Sox have the luxury of time to give Giolito another shot next year. Hopefully he improves greatly, otherwise they’ll have guys to take his spot.
