One injury filled season in the states and injuries in the DSL means the only thing we can judge him on is he can't healthy for very long. I wouldn't even be too concerned about lack of power next yea

Here's a bunch of videos from Sean Williams, he was at the game today.

Surprised no one mentioned it, but Luis Robert left the game with trainers today after going 1 for 3.

Vlad Jr is a monster.

Basabe in the lineup today, no other Sox.

Seems like Rivera is the only Sox hitter getting regular PT. Robert probably would be if he was healthy. But Basabe must be Taxi Squad (Tuesday and Saturday).

Any updates on Robert?

Robert was back in the lineup last night.  He went 1-4 with a K and a run scored.

Robert played on Monday and Wednesday this week and rested Tuesday and Thursday. I imagine he will be back in the lineup tonight. On Wednesday, he went 1-3 with a double and a BB.

Laz Rivera went 4-6 with 3 runs scored last night.

Burdi has been pitching well in limited action. He still is yet to give up an earned run in 4.2 innings. 5 K's and 1 BB over that span.

Is it still too early to be concerned with Robert's lack of power?

Yes it is.  We need to give him a chance to get his hand healthy this offseason.  If he doesn’t show power next season then concern will be warranted.

One injury filled season in the states and injuries in the DSL means the only thing we can judge him on is he can't healthy for very long. I wouldn't even be too concerned about lack of power next year. My main concern is keeping him healthy and getting some AB's .

I agree with you on the injuries.  He’s got to demostrate he can stay healthy for an extended period of time.  That being said, the power has to show up too to some extent IMO.

Robert with a HR tonight.

Spring Training, so... sort of.

                        G   AB  R     H     2B 3B HR RBI  TB  BB K     S   CS  OBP  SLG     BA     OPS  E

Luis Robert    9   38   12   12      1    0      1   5   16   3   7   0   0   .366   .421   .316   .787   0

Glendale has played 18 games  Record is 7 and 11 after an 0-8 start.

As a group pitching Banks, Thompson, Dopico and Burdi are doing fairly well. Dopico has the highest ERA and WHIP at 3.53 and 1 .30

Banks 2.53 ERA  1.13 WHIP , Thompson 1.13 ERA  0,75 WHIP

Burdi has pitched the least of anyone on the team at 4.2 innings. He hasn't pitched in a week. Wondering if he's been shut down or experiencing sorenessor just extra careful.

Everyone but Dopico has kept the walks way down.

The day after I post this (3rd paragraph as I haven't figured out how to BOLD it) SS2K5 posts in Palehose talk a Fegan tweet that says Burdi's been shut down with general fatigue.

Glendale got walloped today 14-3 . Robert went 2/3  2 singles with a walk . His average is up to .341, OBP .400 ,OPS .839 .

None of the Sox pitchers pitched . Banks and Dopico pitched yesterday. Bank went 5 innings , 8 hits ,5 runs, 2 earned 1 BB 2 K ,still has a 2.87 ERA.

Dopico  pitched 2 innings 1 hit , 0 runs, 0 walks 4 K . ERA lowered to 2.79. Nice to see an outing without a walk  from him.
