I think Machado to the Yankees is all but a lock now.

Why exactly does this mean Machado to Yankees again? Did you all expect that the Yankees would...not try to improve?

Because it means they likely wont allocate resources towards a FA pitcher

The way I see it, trading for Paxton allows them to use the money they were going to spend on Corbin on Machado instead.

Assuming they trade Gray, they still need at least another SP.  

Tanaka, Severino, Paxton, Sabatha.......

I doubt htye plan to run Montgomery, Adams or AJ Cole out there every 5th day.

Paxton only supposed to get 9 mil. They’ve now filled two pitching slots for less than 20 mil
