I’ll take a positive nugget however I can get one, but unless that guy is Yonder it’s hard to trust second hand sources.  Dan Clark is the perfect example of that.

He’s a dodgers beat reporter. He’s reputable and on the radio regularly.

Just from reading up on him, seems like he has a good rapport with the players and I saw a fan say he does a good job getting scoops.

This will be my lone optimistic post for the year, but Vassegh would have far less incentive to plant a story than Clark would have (Clark might not know he was being used if he's wrong).

Goddamn has been a roller coaster. One minute I’m down about it and the next I’m high. I picked a hell of a time to stop sniffing glue. 

Well, a lot of people here think he will sign in the next week or 2, so I guess we will find out soon if this is true. Fingers crossed.
