January 25, 20197 yr So 55 in first four with a ten option or 5 buyout = 60 guaranteed or is the five buyout included in the 55? I don't think the deferrals help on luxury tax as that is on AAV. If deferrals obviously helps on cash flow and future value of money.

I think the $5M buy-out on 2023 in addition to the $55M he is owed 2019-2022. I imagine the Dodgers pick that option up for the incremental $5M unless Pollock is literally unable to play baseball any longer.
