Apparently Vegas is no longer taking prop bets on where Bryce Harper will sign. Strong smoke he is going to the Phillies as soon as tomorrow.

No confirmation of this yet. Could be pure speculation, but interesting to monitor. 

Did Vegas ever even have them up? They hate prop bets. For them to take something down like this in late January (again if they ever had odds at all), would not be surprising.

Tail numbers on a private jet from Las Vegas to Philly or it didn’t happen...

My concern would be if the Phillies then tried to sign Manny also. Because they are already further along in their rebuild than the Sox are. Add in their acquisitions this winter, plus Bryce Harper, and they become all the more attractive. Id rather the Sox close the deal with Manny before Harper signs.

I was hoping he would sign after Manny because if Harper's contract is a lot more than what has been offered to Manny then that will cause Manny to demand a contract in the same price range.

I'm hoping this is true as it would likely be the first domino of many
