Another thing I am noticing that seems to be a recurring theme from year's past: watching hittable pitches go right down the middle, typically early in the count, and swinging at pitcher's pitches the rest of the at bat.

Watching these first two games. I don't think MLB fully realizes how much longer games are going to be with the 3 batter minimum rule. Rebuilding teams' games are going to total 4 hours easy.
